- Catalina Island is one of the best spots in the world to swim and scuba dive among the incredible California Kelp forests! You can scuba dive right from the shore here, and you're immediately in an incredible underwater world!
This video shows off some of the local residents too: the bright orange fish are Garibaldi, and the pink/gray fish are Sheephead! That Sea Bass was nearly 5 feet long!
