This concert was held in the Olympic Stadium which is the largest stadium in South Korea. IU is the first Korean solo act to perform in this location 😊
She’s the first female artist, which means not even girlgroup can make it.
The first solo artist is legendary Cho Yong-pil and IU’s parents are big fan of him.
My Sea (The Sea of a Child and I) was written by IU and the lyrics are like a journey of her life. As the song is talking about IU when she was younger (a child) and how she wasn't at peace with herself. But as time goes by, she is able to reconcile with herself.
It's difficult to get exact accurate translations of the lyrics. But this should give you an understanding of the message of the song. Which is important, as IU is a lyrical genius (with her use of metaphors) and her songs are pure beautiful poems directly from her heart.

IU does cover over songs, but this one is hers. She has an entire album of cover songs, actually they are remakes because she has rearranged then. Three of her most popular cover/remakes are The Meaning of You, My Old Story and Last Night's Story (the original of this one was in the kdrama Reply 1988)
Titles to korean songs can be confusing. This songs title strictly translated included the word Child and was a bit long, so the Englisg title was trimed down to simply My Sea. This song is on her Lilac album. The song is about her growth as a person starting from childhood, dealing with self doubt, one of the early lines IU says "because I didn't love myself enough." She wonders if she destroyed that child in order to become who she is. She doesn't think she can reconcile the grown IU with the Child IU. But she finds herself, and although she might lose to life on some days she knows the way back. The sea representing all aspects of life, the waves carrying you to new places, storms causing doubt and anxiety, clam seas being beautiful and peaceful. She has navigated it all.

IMO, this is the best B-side track of her latest Lilac album. At the studio, during My Sea recording, Kim Je-hwi - the composer of the song - urged Her to sing half note higher, and she can manage to do the high notes part directly in just one take! You can search the video footage on CZcams.
Another fact you may need to know is, for the past of the year she was actually suffering from the Patulous Eustachian Tube Dysfunction that impacted her hearing and voice control and gave her pain during singing activity. She is struggling in every song.
That is why she often lowers her head to ease and balance her Eustachian Tube - it is not because she is making an effort for high notes. During rehearsal a week before the concert, she even practiced singing without music to anticipate the possibility that her PETS worsened at the show. And it is happening during day one of the Golden Hours show!
As you can notice in this VM, she is not using the in-ear monitor on her left ear. It means, at that moment she is in pain!
Another fun facts is, My Sea is the 2nd Encore song in the Golden Hours concert set lists. In total, she sang 26 songs, 20 in the original concert set, 2 songs in encore and 4 more songs in the 2nd encore, and she typically chooses the en-encore songs based on the audience request. Every concert is literally a showcase of her quality and endurance as a singer and performer. Stability of her voice is comparable to none.
The attractions (largest screen ever, drone, fireworks, laser sea waves, hot air balloon, managed light stick fan chant etc.) during the concert are unbeatable most spectacular show and is truly the only IU league with live big band and orchestra settings. No other artist ever did it in a live concert, but IU always did.

IU does covers. She has 2 albums called A Flower Bookmark 1 and 2 of covers of old songs rearranged by her. She also covered songs of her guests in her Palette show and her guests covered her songs. She also post videos of her covering songs with just her guitar. During COVID she started the CZcams channel called Homebody Signals for her fans since nobody can go out and she sang song requests.

Iirc, the direct translation of the hangul title is The Sea of a Child and I, which is a closer representation of the song's meaning.
While My Sea is the official song title in English.

There were 340.000 people in line (online queue system) to buy tickets to this concert - all 88.000 tickets sold out within 5 minutes.

This song is IU's own song reflecting her struggles with realizing ego identity in younger time as well as soothing people. Meanwhile, The venue is 'Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium' which was constructed for 'Seoul Summer Olympic in 1988', located in Jamsil, Seoul Korea. Accommodating approximately 100,000 seats in full scale. The concerts had been held twice in the stadium.
Needless to say, a half of the seats were excluded due to the view(sight) for the stage.
Her concert is just amazing and voice is just purely angelic!
