I have crossed that Paamban bridge by road bridge also say this train from the road bridge. The sea was just soooo beautiful and the colour is so prestine lovely Blue like no other. Cute little fisherfolk village. And Dhanushkodi is all ruins yet time stood still looking at the ruins and endless sand dunes. Our Much loved President APJ Abdul Kalam Saab come from this place - Rameshwaram - where Bhagwan Ram started his journey towards Srilanka. There is no train connection between Indian and Lanka. It's just around 15 odd kilometres away from this place . There r many historical places around here which r very important to every Hindus.

Pondicherry is one of the union territories of India consisting of few islands. It was once occupied and ruled by French government. It is a well planned city and its roads are straight with 90° cuts. A very beautiful island city. A worth visiting place.
You can also visit Visakhapatnam a sea shore city in Andhra Pradesh state with beautiful scenic beauty. It is the same city where in 1971 war with Pakistan, their submarine named GHAZI was destroyed. It is a very natural beautiful city. Araku valley is an additional natural beautiful gift (hilly area ) with 10 to 15 tunnels built by Japan through which train with VISTADOME couches passes. Visakhapatnam in short is called as Vizag. It is also a woth visiting tourist destination.
Of course for that matter whole India is itself a beautiful country with gifted vibrant and scintillating beauty
and rich heritage.
India is the only country in the world where sanatan dharma prevails with 10,000 years of history. No other civilization has such a vast and grand history. All its contemporary civilizations evolved and vanished but it is the only Indian civilization that is lasting even today and it shall last forever . It has no end because it is a land of God, Rishis & Munis.
