So much to take in here! The mascarpone cheese with the sugar & whipping cream is a brilliant idea. At first I was wondering why you didn't ore-roll the cake base but then I saw that the filling was so thick it wouldn't be necessary. The way you trimmed the cake is genius. Making it fit snugly together like a carpenter would. I loved every second of this video. Thank you so much for your detailed filming and your attention to perfection.

I have recently made one of these in one of my classes and I never would have thought of cleaning up the chocolate there at the end to give it a final touch, but it looks enticing! However, may I advice using a chef’s knife for the cuts and bathing the knife in hot water to get a clean cut each time?
