"Flower of Scotland" is a Scottish song, frequently performed on special occasions and sporting events as an unofficial national anthem of Scotland.
The song was composed in the mid-1960s by Roy Williamson of the Corries folk group. It was first heard publicly in a 1967 BBC television series. The words refer to the victory of the Scots, led by Robert the Bruce, over Edward II of England at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314. Although there is no official national anthem of Scotland, "Flower of Scotland" is one of a number of songs which are used, along with the older "Scotland the Brave".
The song was composed and is sung in English, typically with Scots pronunciation of a few words (e.g. "Tae" as opposed to "To").

Lovely - I see you have both Flower of Scotland and Scotland the Brave. They're the two main contenders for a (potential) future independent Scotland's national anthem. There's others, but my favourite is 'Is there for honest poverty?' aka, 'A man's a man'. Its rousing, romantic and rebellious. Would love to see you make a video on it.
Others contenders are 'Scots Wha Hae', 'Highland Cathedral' and 'Caledonia', if your interested.

Well technically there isnt any official one other than the God Save the King

Nowadays Scotland has two: Scots Wha Hae --- shades of Burns --- and Flower of Scotland --- thanks to the untiring career-long efforts of The Corries.
And then somebody fitted patriotic lyrics to 'Highland Cathedral' and generated some enthusiasm, you bet. We're off to the races.
