@@roguescoop His reads are amazing, but he just needs to talk himself out of calling more. That's his one weakness. And don't get me wrong, that's not a bad thing, Michael Jordan's weakness in basketball was 3-pointers. Not trusting his gut is Daniel's in poker. Even then, he's still world class and one of the very best of all time.

hes talking would mean shyt if he was playing against the pros....the man is nothing but a donkey.
how can a massive whale be the greatest poker player ever?lmao!!!!!daniel negreanu was a joke....nobody took him seriously alright from the late 2000s and the early mid 2010s of the poker boom, not only was he a massive whale and seriously outclassed in live cash games.....online he wouldnt even register as a crustacean in the poker ecology.....at one point the poker world questioned if daniel negraenu could even beat 200nl online...he even had to "practise" and get coaching.....back in the days, when the highest level poker players in the world loved to clash against each other in online headsup matches and nosebleed stakes risking hundreds of thousands even millions to determine who is the greatest poker players in the world.......
there were multiple threads over the years where the online poker community discussed or rather "mocked" the various challenges daniel negreanu played against other poker greats where he was utterly destroyed in various forms of poker.....much like the recent headsup chaleenge against doug polk.the man is just a fish whereever he goes.....
back during the prime days of phil ivey and tom dwan and isildur and patrick antonius......nobody would have considered daniel negranue even in the top 20 poker players in the world.....not even the top 50......
even 3rd rate poker pros like phil laak and antonio esfiandari and they are pretty formidable would have kicked daniel negraenu's ass.....

He didn't say it as a rhetorical question either as if he was probing for info - he stated it as a matter of fact. like he just knew. Daniel's mindgames is on another level. Favourite player to watch. Clever, polite, non-aggressive. His bluffs are good. If I didn't see the cards, I'd not be able to tell. And of all the people present at the games, I think he is most conscious of the fact that others may study his style ahead of the game. He also brings up things observed in other players' games, which means he digs up everything on his opponents. Does his pre-game homework. He's never the same twice, tailoring his behaviour, so you can't guess his next action, based on the former ones. No dead giveaways. He's just fun to watch. Appearing relaxed, even when nervous.

It is my dream to play in the WSOP, but I will probably never get the chance. His video's allow me to feel like I am there with him. its funny , how twitchy and quiet he becomes when he's super thinking hard. he does tend to talk when he's nervous, but he also plays into it as well because hes aware of it.

Love these. So many questions, so little answers. What is a better camera that you could use to take even clearer pictures of these speedy objects? Is it all about the frame rate or the resolution or both?

I think the most impressive play was when Daniel said at 15:00 “give that man his money” when LITERALLY it’s a boat vs flush like holy shit was that clever banter as well as prediction for the cards

Thank you for this video. My appreciation came when I heard his opinion on wearing sunglasses. He welcomes his weaknesses to you while one tries to hide there's. Great video, great praise, and more importantly I believe Daniel can bring back the popularity of Texas Holdem that online controversy with Full Tilt and the government banning online play. Daniel is a good rep to help bring up the popularity of poker. My opinion.

Negreanu was on a different level back up to the end of the 2000s. In the last seven years, he's lost so many steps that he's now found it necessary to be just another GTO accolyte.

With all due respect... anyone who understands the game and plays to their strengths and knows their opponent can become the world greatest poker player. Stu Unger was the greatest to me... rarely allowing the opponent to see the next card without over committing, including the highest probabilities on best hand vs. the board and sheer intuitions. Though tragic, he was the very best and even if though he was crass at time... one thing is sure Mr. Ungar... you are loved by me, always. Daniel is a wonderful player and I enjoy his game. And great poker players value winning against their opponent over any amount of money. All the best and please all, remember those who passed and did the game justice. Rest in peace Stu... love always wins.
