One of my favorite touches is how certain combinations of characters will randomly talk to each other during a match.

The voice acting just elevates the game to a new level. These television characters would just not be the same without their iconic voices. Props to the people at Player First Games who got these voice actors into the game.

I've noticed that everyone seem to be having a hard time because they're playing it like smash aka not using the dodge move too much. It's more like Brawlhalla where your defense is mostly dodging through the attack or the opponent depending on the attack and whiff punishing.

I love how Alpharad talked so much trash about Warner Brothers using Space Jam 2 to show off how many properties they had, then WB offers him a partnership with a game that has that same expressed purpose.

I'm actually okay with Iron Giant being in this, for the same reason it's okay Batman is in. This is a game about ringouts. No one dies. It is likely in universe, as much as it is outside, just a big game of sorts.
Iron Giant just feels like a Rivals workshop character. He feels like a balanced King Bowser.

Let me remind y'all that there is a non-zero chance that we could have Josuke or Giorno from Jojo. Jojo's anime are at least in part owned by Warner Bros of Japan, and considering we have Lebron James and Arya Stark, well, it isn't impossible...
Josuke and Giorno seem hard to make movesets for compared to like Jotaro or Joseph
@@ethanwatson6131 Considering that Josuke and Giorno are more support-oriented, you could definitely make then more interesting. Josuke could potentially make platforms or apply a debuff to opponents that causes them to take more damage through Crazy Diamond. You could also incorporate an interpetation of Josuke's glass shard trick, albeit with maybe a lock of hair or tuft of fur or something related to the target to set up a snipe from afar. You could use other moves like Rohan's bike or just some animations that fit him as a delinquent.
Giorno would definitely be harder to make work, though.
EDIT: And how could I forget the pellet thing Josuke used during the rat fight? And Giorno could possibly heal teammates with his brooches, but it takes time to get new brooches which limits its healing.
This game NAILED the charm of a platform fighter completely, the characters are so fun and full of life that it makes you want to play all of them.
However, sadly for me at least the gameplay is just not that fun which really sucks

All I want for this game is the addition of Ed Edd n Eddy. They could even have a switching mechanic like Pokémon Trainer does in Smash.
I remember in the game they had a Sonic Heroes type of mechanic where you could switch the leader for a different moveset

I love sonic heroes and that mechanic, but it was definitely built for single player games.

Up special is Ed, side is Edd and down is Eddy. That way you choose the one you want at any given moment

NGL, this game is actually really fun, if they stick with it and add more characters, this could one day be the rival to SSB, it's just gonna take a while... Actually tbh I don't think anything is going to compete with smash bros, but it'll have it's cult.
Smash Bros is apparently done now. And with the net code issues and the semi-casual focus i assume it will keep a similar player base to Melee in the future
But this game has way less limitations in terms of roster and is free, so it could be the next League of Legends

Years ago, at the lunch of Shadow if Mordor. WB was outed to have given contracts alongside their sponsored units that were super dishonest; forbidding the talking about bugs, demanding the creators to be positive, with conditions like making five "calls to action" (aka telling people to go buy the game or follow the link to the storefronts) and hiding the sponsored nature of the content in the bottom of the video's description.
Ever since then, it's not rare to see conditions like the ones of this video where they over correct the fuck out of that attitude by demanding talk of the sponsorship upfront, and several times as to say "see! we're honest now!".
Oh I don't have an issue with it, I find it hilarious. Though not as hilarious as Dash's antiperspirant joke.
