優しいメロディーからの2:10の間奏の盛り上がりで涙が溢れて止まらん。その後また優しいメロディーに戻って感情グチャグチャになる。

曖昧な歌詞はわざと聴き手に色々なことを考えさせれるようにしてるのか 偶然ならばかなりの文才だが歌詞の要所々々に一貫した言葉が入ってるからやはり狙っているのか…
それぞれの境遇に合わせて全然違う捉え方ができるように、かなり普遍的な道理を曖昧な歌詞にして説いているという印象を受けました。情景を想像し、自分に重ねることで、見失いがちな大切なことを再確認する機会や、多角的に物事を観察する視点を得る一助となることを狙っているのかもしれませんね。

逆に意味がつながらない単語だけを置いていくならば何の整合性もないものができるわけで、これは狙わないと不可能な歌詞だぞ。というよりもっというと様々な哲学や思想が下地になっているのが平沢進だからね
数年前、深夜に父を看取った帰り道、このロータス(Remix)、スウィッチョン、colony、mermaidソング（Remix）を聴きながら心を深く鎮め、父の新たな出発の日と決め、笑顔で穏やかに送り出すことが出来ました。
この曲聴くと自然に還えれる気がするよ‥

In lyrics,Hirasawa use the word not 'she','her' but 'you' in japanese 'KIMI'.
'Kimi' has various meanings. it means 'he' for someone,and means 'she' for another somebody.
