The idea is great but could be improved. The metal part holding the blade will eventually be cut in half. Watch the ridge of that part (starting at minute 4:53) and notice how it develops a black line. Jigsaw blades are extremely hard and the movement produces too much friction.
The durability of that metal part depends on how hard the material is.
Adding bearings or groove wheels to hold the blade could help with that problem.

Antxon Armendariz it's hard to tell by just a video but it appears to be an aluminum blend or coating with or on some harder metals. It's malleable, strong, and shiney. So, he has the best of both worlds for what he needs is my observation, as I'm a welder fabricator for 8 years now. It's really hard to tell without it in my hands though.

It's a great idea but doesn't the motor run hot ?? There are no cooling holes or slot's cut into the pipe work to allow air flow to cool the motor.
