That 30HZ flickering of the LED matches perfectly with the tune.

Lol! Yeah, couldn't do a proper recording, my pc doesn't recognise my audio interface anymore (which is actually also the reason that I dug up my mc303 ghehe)

Bravo man - if there's two things I know very well, it's Ambient Works 1 and how annoying and fiddly the MC303 sequencer can be, so that's a fantastic achievement. Great to hear a remake of a track from my favourite album with the groovebox I love for nostalgic reasons yet totally understand why everyone else hates it. But then I can point to videos like this one to help them see they're wrong! :)

Ik lees dat diverse 303 en 505 eigenaars schrijven, dat de geluiden van de 303 veel interessanter zijn, maar de uitgang van de 505 beter is.
Uiteindelijk kopen de 505 bezitters, weer een 303.

this is soooo awesome!! how did you find all the right sounds/kicks/snares?
I just took an mc303 sound that came close to the original, and tried tweaking it for the best results :)
Melody is T01-23, Bass is T01-15, and the strings are T04-01, the water effect is also a standard one, think it's also in the t04 bank, and the drumkit is the built in 808. :)

are all the sounds stock MC303?
You can't load new sounds onto it, you can only slightly edit the sounds if has :)

Yes they did: in their 2014 track "Ugly Boy".
Aphex Twin released the original track in 1992 though.

The track predates the MC303, so he wouldn't have used this, but the (multiple) synths he used were programmed in a similair way.
