Seaman salary ranges in 21st century
Deck Cadet and engine cadet position,
11 to 40 thousand pesos per month
Wiper, messman and Ordinary Seaman,
50-68 thousand pesos per month
Oiler and Able seaman position,
75-80 thousand pesos per month.
Bosun, Fitter,and Chief cook position,
90-110 thousand pesos per month.
3rd officer and 4th engineer position,
110-190 thousand pesos per month.
2nd officer and 3rd Engineer salary ,
130-215 thousand pesos per month.
Chief officer and 2nd engineer position, 330-500 thousand pesos per month.
Captain and Chief Engineer salary ranges, 440 to 650 thousand pesos per month.
