- Aloha! Each of our kids has a minimalist capsule wardrobe that fits into three packing cubes. These are the clothes they will pack when we move abroad or resume long-term travels. It is also all they have left to wear at home, after decluttering their closet. No matter how long of a time period, one week's worth of clothing is more than enough! It helps that we live in a hot tropical climate, so we don't need warm winter clothes.
Is your child's closet overflowing with too many clothes? Is it a hassle to putting away clean laundry? I was feeling the same way, so I figured it's never too early to start minimizing.

Over the last couple days, I was decluttering my son's wardrobe. It's easy to accumulate dozens of clothes for a baby and toddler. I look forward to the next video on that.

We have a shared washing machine that is sometimes taken. We definitely need more clothes and can't wash that often

Mrs. Heidi, what tips do you have for finding the best wool clothes? We want to buy 100% wool, but items like socks are always a huge combination with synthetic materials, which is understandable for some qualities wool doesn't have. Also do you plan on learning to make garments? I know you have basic sewing skills. It could save y'all lots of money. Although I don't get the impression that y'all need to budget. Finally, I found a company that makes organic cotton packing cubes and thought you'd be interested. Northern Olive has a few sets. Safe travels! And thanks for reading my comment.
Hi! It took me forever to find your comment. My kids have some 100% wool clothing from Truly Charis. I have a few piece from TC too and love my metamorphic dress the most. My husband wears 100% Merino wool shirts from Unbound, and they are about to release a women's line! I shared a link Facebook to sign up to hear when the women's line is released. Wool is expensive, we go minimalist. My kids have been wearing their long sleeve shirts for 2 years. I wish I had time to sew! It took me 3 months to sew a set of diaper boosters.... Wool socks usually are a blend, not sure about any 100%. Are you in the Wool Love group on FB? That's a good place to ask. 🌸 Heidi
