This is our custom designed minivan camper van conversion with a full bed, kitchen, and table. Check out our channel for more detailed videos or visit our blog at miniyetmighty.com.
Hi there #minivanlifers!!! As you might have noticed we finally updated the channel's name to miniyetmighty. Yayyyy! With that, it seems like all our responses to your questions/comments disappeared :-( If you did not see an answer before they gone away feel free to ask again and we'll address them promptly. Also, we just recently recorded some NEW VIDEOS (including kitchen details with better audio) that we'll try to get online soon, so STAY TUNED!!! Thank you all for your interest and keep asking questions. WE LOVE HEARING FROM YOU!!!
I love your design, especially about leaving the third row seats in place. I’ve been toying with that arrangement so it’s really cool to see what it looks like “in reality“. I haven’t seen another video that does that! 😀👍🏼
I've watched like a million minivan camper conversion videos, and this is by far my favorite one that I've seen. I love the living room to bed conversion idea that you used. Between this video, and this "build your own portable air conditioner out of a cooler" video, I know exactly what I will be doing to my van once I get it. Thanks!
I love your rig, this is by far one of if not the best conversions I've seen on a minivan. I have been researching to do my own van conversion and had dismissed the idea of a minivan until I saw this video. The dinette table that converts into a bed is a great idea that I would not have considered attempting in a minivan, until I saw how well yours seems to work.
Siennas rule! From what I gathered on your website, this is exactly what I’m doing with my old Sienna too. Not jumping off a cliff and leaving town, just looking to use it for some trips within reach for my stage of life. Love the curtains. I’m going to track down those snap screws. I would caution you on the compression rod. On my 08 Sienna the only place I could get the compression rod to stay put without permanent screws is the on top of the column where the curtain air bags deploy. I would recommend taking the rod down while driving for safety reasons. I hope you are still using the van like you hoped. More power to you guys!
I have watched Sienna conversion videos endlessly, but always keep coming back to the simplicity and functionality of yours. I hope you're still answering comments; I wonder if you would share the dimensions of the bench/cabinet that you built behind the front seats, and the dimensions of the bed sections. It would just save me the trial and error of guessing it myself. I'm 71, and I just want to get on with it. Thinking I may take out the back seats after all, and build a similar box to replace them. More storage! I hope y'all are still around! Thanks, Steve P.
I have been watching many van conversions where all the rear seats are removed. YOURS IS GREAT and what I've been looking for. The rear cabinet is fantastic. Thanks.
great little setup, I've three kids and have always struggled to find a way of having a mini camper that can still seat three in the back... Brilliant, not sure that model is around in the UK but I'll be checking it out... more videos please x
I love that you still have the back seat up. We have 2 boys and need that space to travel. Great build. Btw, Carol from Glorious Life On Wheels sent me to your channel and I’m glad she did!
Wow I love your setup. I've been looking at a lot of people's vans for ideas and then I came across yours. I absolutely love the idea of a table and bench behind the front seats so there isn't just a huge bed in the back all of the time. Thanks for the video and I'm definitely going to model ours after yours.
how effective and strong wind protection needs to be has a lot to do with how windy it is... in wind like that, it probably would overwhelm even a nice dead cat - they are good to about 35mph. beyond that, you would need a blimp
I love how simple your conversion is, leaving in the back row of seats. I’m a lil fuzzy on making the bed, but I really like how it works. The decor is cute too. Thanks for a great video!
I had to watch with the sound off because the wind noise was triggering my sensory issues but I feel like I got the gist of most things. I like the bed design especially.
Hi Van Life, I have a 2005 Toyota Sienna, will have to go over and check out your site. I’m new to mini van conversions and think my van would be great for dural purpose living.
You did such an awesome job! I own a Chevy 15 passenger express van with low mileage. I am encouraged by your build. I did look at your website and I now wish I kept my Honda minivan! Very good build! Enjoy your journey!
Great tour! I have 2 vans, and will be adding a removable conversion to my 08 grand caravan. I only wish my 3 teens could all fit in it as well. Imagine 5 in a minivan sleeping. LOL. keep up the good work!
Wow! First time I have ever seen the bed seup idea without removing 3rd row seats! And love your dining table and of course great kitchen. Love it.☺️ Thanks for sharing this great video.🙏
I love the curtins, so pretty. I can't believe as I watch the work you van dwelers go threw, and I can't even get my boss to put fuzzy stuff between the two doors here at work to keep the wind from blowing in-between them. Love the kitchen....
get the this flat aluminum pieces at Home depot. They are long, and you can gradually bend them around the top perimeter of your van, so you can have curtains that can slide right around the inside of the Van to close the windows off.
Can I hit "like" more than once? The whole set up is great and I LOVE that kitchen. What a sweet dad you have! Doesn't lecture you about living with your man in a van (well it could've happened and I just don't know) and instead builds you a kitchen. I'm also single and people try to tell me I have to be more normal (i.e. not live the van life) so I can find a man and live the 1950's dream with two kids and a white picket fence. But you guys are living proof that it doesn't have to be that way! I have hope! Keep up the good work! Keep enjoying life.
Thank you so much for your nice comments! I hear ya'.....How about a rolling home with stickers all over it instead of the white picket fence :-) and yes, I am a lucky girl, my dad is awesome!!!
great ideas, I pulled all the seats out of my grand voyager but just went and measured ,, I can leave the back one in as it folds almost all the way down, thanks.
I like how you have the seating and table for working. I haven't seen that before in a minivan. Where do you store the mattresses when you're in the table configuration? Also, how do you access the storage area underneath the kitchen furniture? Thanks for the tour!
Well... I'd planned to say something "original"...about what an EXCEPTIONAL job you did!!! WELL DONE!!! However... I believe it's all been said by others😉 lol Truthfully... You did a tremendous job... I'm going to help my son and his fiance with their conversion this weekend... Their kitchen won't come close to yours...( FABULOUS ) but I'm fairly resourceful...and darn clever...if I do say do myself😂 I really liked your table...AND your curtains...are so pretty...with a bit of luck... I'll be able to find your screws... Wish me luck... Happy trails🙂🙂🙂
I really appreciate this type of setup. I'm just too tall to be comfortable in that living / sleeping space. Otherwise I would totally go for something like this.

Dope setup!
Thanks @Jeffrey Whitaker!!!

Thanks a lot! The bed frame has 2 piano hinged pieces that fold down to make large, flat surface.
Love this design. Thank you for some great ideas.
Thanks for the sharing with us the bedroom setup. I am going to mod my Sienna exactly like your setup.
I like the snap screws; I had not heard of those.
And your kitchen is amazing!
Best van design I've seen!!
I had to watch with the sound off because the wind noise was triggering my sensory issues but I feel like I got the gist of most things. I like the bed design especially.
I like how neat everything looks. Very nice build.
I love that kitchen set up. Please show us how you set up your homemade awning.
Thank you for posting
Thanks a lot @CaringHeart! Video about the awning (and more) should be online in the next few days! Thank you for your interest!!
Great layout you got there. Terrific vid!
Awesome design!
Nice that you incorporated the third row seating. It reminds me of a tear drop trailer concept.
Wow ... nice job. I like the idea of keeping the rear seats in ~ hadn't really seen that done before.
Love the kitchen set up, gave me some great ideas
Your setup is amazing
Great build - love it! Thank you for sharing! xoxo
Great going with the gray outer curtains
Great job on that conversion!
Brilliant design!
Hi Gabor. I like your minivan setup. I live in a 2004 toyota sienna minivan. So it is nice to see other sienna setups.

very good use of space
nice, I like the many different setups and ideas for these vans. I had problems with the back window in my odyssey because it is slanted
Thanks for the curtain idea.

I really liked this build but the wind made it extremely difficult to hear anything and was very loud
Very practical and good arrangememt.

Very cool and efficient
Hi There - I accidentally came across your video but really liked your innovative idea to convert car into a small & great leaving place 😊
Thank you! It's a smaller space that most vans but works GREAT for us
Love the channel name.
Nice . You could get a tent that hooks up to the rear hatch for cooking in bad weather , plus gives you more space.
751 subscriber. Best yet , and the only one who sported a fire extinguisher.
Ha! Thank you. Luckily we haven't had a need for it yet, but sure feel safer having it....
Nice setup
Very nice. Thank you.
This is awesome!! Thank you so much.
Thank you for your comment!
Very cool video
Love from Saudi Arabia
Very Nice!
I like how you have the seating and table for working. I haven't seen that before in a minivan. Where do you store the mattresses when you're in the table configuration? Also, how do you access the storage area underneath the kitchen furniture? Thanks for the tour!
Sienna has a very large and deep trunk in the back. It can serve as a garage.
Smart design!
Very nice, thank you for the information.
0:49 was inspiring. Thank you 🙏🏽

Wish me luck...
Happy trails🙂🙂🙂
I really appreciate this type of setup. I'm just too tall to be comfortable in that living / sleeping space. Otherwise I would totally go for something like this.
I hear ya'. Minivanlife certainly does not work for everyone. We're both average height peeps tho so we fit right into a mini :-)
I’m five feet tall so it’s like a regular van for me 😂😂😂😂😂
Hi there, do you have a video of the construction of the bed frame, or at least dimensions? This is a great lay out.
Looks sick man
Thanks @SNSD Sunny
Great Job we are working on ours now
Loooove those curtains, genius
Thank you so much! They do the job and actually hold up surprisingly well...
I like how clean your setup is. I find a lot of vans are cluttered and that would be hard, for me at least. :)
