Nice music. Where do I find a 1.5 KVAR (kilovolt-amperes reactive) capacitor? How many microfarads is that?

The utility companies do not have meters for residential that check power factor. The truth is, the worse your power factor is, the lower your bill will be. So either put some large capacitors connected to the system, or some large inductors, like a large transformer with no load.

How about verification by an outside testing service?

residents are not charged for power factor. This is a power company problem.

Fine for DC power into power meter. Deadly if used on an AC circuit.
DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!

Complete utter rubbish. Changing the power factor on a single phase home supply has no affect at all on the meters consumption readings.
