Just rescued a post pregnant husky that someone dumped off in our rural neighborhood. Checked all the boxes, hit up social media, made phone calls, checked if she was chipped - all nope. She's a great addition to our home, with a rescue pittie and a part time step dog that's a shepherd but phew, yup - huskies are a whole nother world! 😆 Thank you for rescuing that momma.
I have a husky myself (Luna, a white husky) and my poor baby she was also abandoned twice, and her 1rst owner was very abusive with her, her 2nd owner was kind of nice to her as well, but her 2nd owners were getting a divorce and they had to get rid of her, thankfully my family founded Luna and they took her home and surprised me with her for my Birthday. Fast Forward to 7 Months, she loves all of us and now she feels very comfortable. Maybe I have such a kind heart, but I never understand how a person can abandoned any animal, let alone abuse them. Thank You So Much Joey for your kindness, I hope this Husky Mommy and her puppies makes it!

Hey there! While we have our dogs take their regular fea and tick treatment, we live in the country with the woods as our back yard and they have had a deer tick on them from time to time, so I make a flea and tick spray using essential oils:lemon grass, clove, lavender, and eucalyptus oils mixed in with water. It smells so good and works well!
