Any Wood Glue can be used if necessary & Ps ❗ Elastic can be Surgical Tubing or Gym Exuipment Elastic depending on availability, i also find Thread from Old Timing Belts usually outlasts any String/ twine needed for durability in i.e., Shoe Repair etc., & could work well in this application..⁉️🤔
