I agree with your grandmother. When I worked outside of the home I would always remember my true employer is GOD and not man. Colossians 3:23 helped me to remember to carry myself in a Christlike manner. “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men” col 3:23. I recently “up” my productivity by wearing an apron. Although I am a mom 24/7 my youngest is now 9 so we are in a new season of life. I take off the apron off between 8-830pm. Everything that happens after that time my children are capable of doing it for themselves. One of the highest calling and hardest job is being a mother… good mother. When I stand before GOD to give account for the sheep HE has given me I want to be able to say with my all I gave them the love of Christ as their foundation and the tools to guide them onto the path that leads them to HIM. Yes, Michelle! Amen! 🙌🏽 Exactly that! We can apply that verse to every aspect of our lives, huh? Whatever we do- doing it all for the glory of God - also 1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds my children even to always do for the Lord! I LOVE your apron idea! 😍
@@TheDiligentMama I must say I am enjoying the wearing of the apron. It just helps me get to work and get things done. And I have stained some of my clothes in the past which is why I started to wear an apron. I also am a to do list person. I don’t get upset if the list isn’t completed because life happens. But it does work in helping me not to forget that I have to get those things completed. Blessings
I loved hearing you talk about your mom and grandma. I too wish I would have spent more time in the kitchen with her.
