He deserves to win at least a 500 event. Maybe if he wins a 500, his confidence in masters and grand slam finals would go up.
🔥HOT TAKE🔥: Honestly Ruud is more comparable to a guy like Sebastian Báez than he is to the like of an Alcaraz or Sinner. Both of them being clay court specialists, Ruud is age 25 with 10 career titles, all at the ATP250 level. Compare that to Báez, age 23, with 6 career titles, including an ATP500 title at the Rio Open, winning the earlier this year. Now Ruud has had more success overall than a guy like Báez, he’s been #2 in the world, had made( I believe) three major/grandslam finals, and is a way better player on hard courts than Báez is, but if you look at there career’s side by side, they look extremely similar.
@@BGuartonI do agree about Ruud being more "earthly" than guys like Alcaraz or Sinner, but he is vastly superior to Baez.
He is closer to Alcaraz than to Baez, it's just that the "last few steps" to get to that level are reserved to "special" individuals.
He still might make it, remember Wawrinka had a way way worse career than him up until he was nearly 30 and suddenly he became "unleashed" and won 3 Slams.
Ruud is quality player best of luck
Lets go Casper!
Vamos Casper!!! Good luck !!!!
Good luck Casper. 👍
Congrats on your well-deserved first ATP 500 title, Casper!!!!
Best of luck Ruud ❤🤞
Let's not forget he was 2 wins away from being a 2 time grand slam champion. He'll get his big wins
3 wins away from being a 3 time Grand Slam champion..
Wish you the best Casper you are amazing player even if you are not reading this.
@jansinner jag läste din kommentar om Ruud och jag är väldigt lycklig för det.
** Vi gillar honom båda och det är inte så ofta att någon berömda Ruud. 🌸🇳🇴🇸🇪
Barcelona should be an ATP 1000
these guys can play the highest level of tennis in the world with constant jetlag and mere days of actual recovery and therapy and I can't get out of bed at 6. Man.
They were born for this. Plain and simple.
Do the players fly from Monte Carlo to Barcelona, or do they take a high speed train?
TB. On se demande comment ils vivent entre deux tournois.
Go Casper go !!!!!
It's how you get to Carnegie Hall.
Very kind guy but his game is very limited!
