- The elves who wound up becoming christmas trees from the Sylvaneth warband and the overgrown New York subway rats from the Skaven warband, will commence battle in the Eightpoints. This is my favorite channel for warhammer stuff. Clear easy to follow battles. Clam narration. But still gives the models a bit of personality. Hope to see him do more skaven warcry stuff

Do you think Sylvaneth would have fared better here with blades or scythes on any Kurnothi? That fall edit was brilliant. An all too understandable sense of anxiety.

Close combat Kurnothi would have fared better here. Pretty sure they would have cleaned up the rats.
Well, this is the outcome i expected. The bow hunters do not give you a lot of bang for your buck.

As of now I do not have either of those warbands. But if I was to acquire them, of course!

Well, I didn't use all GW paints so that may be why! Don't feel the need to stick to exactly what I did. I personally feel they came out to dark green. Anyways, here ya go.

5:49 U should roll for falling test for that Kurnoth leader, and that platform should have both sides with steps open but its common mistake when You glue terrain with instruction and next look at deployment cards :(
Both sides open is incorrect, take a look again at the deployment card, you can clearly see that only on side is open.

Good catch on the fall. That one is always a hard one for me to remember. Find it kind of funny though that if the Kurnoth Hunter failed his falling test, he would have flown over the rat, falling down the stairs!
Anyone else seriously annoyed with how much more powerful the newer releases are compared to the older ones (especially true for chaos vs new ones)? With the occasional exception of really lucky victory and deployment card combos, I just don't see how the old ones can compete.
I only own the starter and Splintered Fang, so I could just ignore the rest, but it really bothers me that GW seemingly has no clue regarding warband balance. Buying multiple boxes of chaos only marginally helps as the individual units themselves are just massively better in new releases.
I tend to agree with you Kenny. It is not stopping me from enjoying the game as I am not the most competitive person in the world, but there is that annoyance to deal with. Maybe like AoS, they will have points updates throughout the year, but I won't be expecting anything of the sort.

Unfortunately not at this time. Definitely something I'd like to do in the future, but it is not at all financially viable at this time. I'm sorry...

I went through Chessex. Simply provided them an image and they did the rest!

That may be a better question for them. I went with D6s and a simple design. As far as I know they may only use an image for 1 side. Always best to see what other companies do before you decide though!
kurnoth hunter leader has 3 atacks with a bow, the regular one has 2. but still you dont want to have too many kurnoth hunters, especially the ones with bows. they dont do enough demage, they cost too much, they are weak in melee combat. one hunter is all you need to kill weakened foes. against many fast enemies they are useless. against skavens a dryad horde with one hunter and maybe some revenants would be better. it could be an even match.

I'm super confused, can you explain the dryad's phase at 4:00 please? Why did he fall instead of jumping? Did he move twice and then attack? How?
I gotcha. So she moved up and over the terrain (roughly 2-3 inches, can't remember) and then fell down instead of climbing down the terrain. If she climbed down she would not take fall damage, but use up that full move action. After the fall, she continues her initial move action, since she did not use all her 5 inches to move up to the rat. Then for her second action she attacked the little guy! Hope that clears things up. There is only so much voice over I can do before it gets too drawn out.

Next question would be falling vs climbing down vs jumping? Couldn't you have just jumped? For all intensive purposes it would have given the same outcome, you'd still take the fall, and dangerous terrain check but by "falling" doesn't that mean the other player gets to decide where you get placed?
Possibly I've answered my own question and actually you kinda did a jump but just called it falling thematically?
