Hi, healthcare facilities are good bt it takes time to get any specialist’s appointment . I have no experience with govt hospital bt for private healthcare centres appointments are relatively quicker. I have gotten appointments on the same day and after 3-4 days as well. (Really depends on how busy the centre is that week) For emergencies you have south doc available at night and weekends (chargeable of course ) which can be claimed from your private health insurance company. I am mother of 13 year old girl .. shifting there by june 2024...my daughter is getting anxious to adjust there..can you please explain me as in Is there any particular locality/ school where should would more Indian crowd. I am trying to making her journey in foreign land smooth initially..😊
Hi Preeti, to be honest with you, you might not have the option to choose area while looking for houses. Housing crisis is huge , so take what you get. Most of the residential areas are good in Cork, you may look for areas like Douglas , Carrigaline, Ballincollig , Wilton etc Wishing you luck with the move! 👍

Thanks Maria, glad you find the content helpful ! There are good special needs schools in most of the residential areas in Cork, however what I have heard getting admission could be challenging as they have long waiting list. But definitely you do have the options.

Hi, there are no such areas, however if you get a house in a residential estate you will definitely get few Indian families .. all residential areas are nice! People are very welcoming and friendly, so pls stay rest assured !
