UK fan from Japan here ✋What I like most about the UK is a view from train. Up hills, sheep’s grazing, the hedges all across. Wish I could travel up to Scotland someday.
I am American and lived in Harrogate for 4 years. England and the beautiful Yorkshire dales will always be my true love. I enjoy your way of describing the many many different aspects of English life.
So glad you are proud...of your country....warms my heart...nice positive person...and honest....yes west country less populated..
You're one of my favorites teachers of all time, Benji, and I just adore the way you speak and teach . Thank you a lot! 😊
Thank you! 😃
Weather talk is a kind of code that we have evolved to help us overcome social inhibitions and actually talk to one another; kind of an icebreaker. In some situations it's used to fill awkward silences, or divert the conversation away from uncomfortable topics.
Great Britain- my heartbeat ❤
Great teacher with a great accent And articulatory skills !
Cheers Ben 😎
Thanks Basia - nice to hear from you.
Good morning Benjamin I'm Irish and it is 6.55 am here too. I love the beauty of the British Isles.

Having always lived surrounded by the Atlantic Rain Forest and mountains in southern Brazil; I fell in love with the English country side when living in London. Once upon a time...
Hope you enjoyed your time over here.
Thank you for your great way of teaching. I'm half English and as a result spent a lot of my childhood in and around Cornwall. The most beautiful memories I have.
Cornwall's a great place. I live quite near there.
Great to see your different video, Benjamin, showing us the beauty of living in the UK. Long-time subscriber (although, I don't watch often, but sometimes do, because I like your spirit and your way of talking). Greetings from Newcastle/Durham area 👋
Cheers, Dmitry!
Thanks for the video, it's quite beautiful landscape and specific introduction, and UK scenery really impressed me, even though I have not been UK (I am from China)
You must visit one day!
Instant like for the doggo! Also I'd like to add to the bonuses, the UK has a very rich history. Myriad of memorial places to visit, plethora of historical mysteries to uncover!
Devon is certainly a great place to visit. Thanks Benjamin for sharing with us the beautiful landscape of your wonderful country. Greetings from México.
Thank you!
Thank you for your lessons! You are doing a great job not only for improving our language but also encourage us to visit such a wonderful places on Earth.
Thank you! 😃
You live in a wonderful place! Beautiful landscapes, green fields, open water. The confluence of those two rivers that you pointed out reminded me the place of my power - when the routine of everyday life presses on me with its unbearable greyness I get on the car and drive to the flood of a large river, I enjoy its beauty and power, it can caress us with its warm waters, feed us with its gifts, or maybe playfully like a cat with a helpless mouse turn us into a handful of sand at its bottom. This ever-moving force of water, at the same time beautiful and dangerous, feeds me with its energy and gives me the power to live and create!
Thanks for sharing, Ilya. It's a special place - never tire of looking out at it.
Nice video im from Bath the gateway to the west and I love it
Hello Benjamin. Thank you for your work. Your video help many people to learn english! And me too.

I like the weather, the hills , green places ❤️
Certainly very green!
Great class, this teacher is great.
Thank you! 😃
Way to go 🙂 The weather is awesome.
The weather constantly changes here.
I love ur accent mate!
OK!
I love UK ...I had a pleasure to lived in Bristol for 30 dyas It was an amazing experience !
Bristol's great - glad you enjoyed it!
A bit further up is Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. An extremely beautiful area. The largest area of outstanding natural beauty in the country. The villages are picture postcard.
The Cotswolds are ok. I prefer Devon, it's wilder.
@@engvidBenjamin I prefer the Cotswolds and they have not got in Devon the mass of beautiful villages that Gloucestershire has. Literally dozens of wonderful villages. People mention the Peak District but, then again, too dark, bleak and wild for me. Not lush and green. The best part of Devon is the coastal places in my opinion.
👏👏👏👏👏👏Goooorgeous English without an accent ! 😀😃 Have you ever played polo at Cowdray Park, in Midhurst ? 😀😃That's where I looked after my uncle's ponies ages ago ! Un abrazo grande, from Olivos, Buenos Aires, Argentina🇦🇷🇬🇧🇦🇷🇬🇧🇦🇷🇬🇧
In Thailand, Beautiful beaches, Low cost of living, Yummy foods, There are many walking street (night market) in some province of Thailand & there are many national Park here located almost every region in Thailand.. I haven't been there. Good to hear about the monks!
Many thanks kaaaa, Teacher Benjamin...😊😇😊...
There are many farms in the UK , I worked in Kent, much love for England
I really want to take a trip to the uk some day, I'm curious to see what it's like. It peaked my interest ever since pokemon made a region based on it, galar, abd I'm curious just to see all the differences it is from living in America.
Some parts are nicer than others, but definitely worth a trip!
would like to visit you in UK
Thanks
Welcome
I would love to visit Manchester. It is a long dream of mine. This year or next year I'll be visiting Liverpool for the first time ever.
As a Southerner, I prefer London and Bristol but I hope you enjoying your visits!
@@engvidBenjamin I intend to visit London as well - I have been reading many interesting details about Bristol as well 🥰
Manchester has improved a lot in recent years and is a great place to visit and live. Very cosmopolitan and tonnes of bars/restaurants and independent shops.
👍🏻🙏🏻❤️
please add the subtitle, sir
I'll pass the message onto the tech team.
@@engvidBenjamin oh thank you sir
What is the reason for so many stones on the grass?
Good question! That is a labyrinth. The stones are from a column that commemorated some people who died in a war, I believe, and legend has it that the column was struck by a bolt of lightning and the stones were dispersed in quite a wide radius. The local people helped to gather the stones near to where the column stood and instead made a labyrinth.
