- The day Fr. Ashlyn Chand got selected for the seminary, he got an offer letter from a foreign company, another offer letter from a reputed company in India, and another offer from his own company with a higher position to retain him. The HR department offered him an increment, a position, money, and power. But he took matters to Jesus in prayer, and after prayer, he was more convinced that with all the money, power, and position in the world, no one could give him the contentment and peace he was yearning for except Jesus.

One good catholic took me to meet him, fr chand but he offered me to attend his retreat but somehow I couldn't attend, till now I am waiting as I am from Delhi, all of sudden I saw his vedio , in Delhi we don't have any priest like him

God indeed works in ways we cannot see. I had the opportunity to be counseled and blessed by late Fr. A.V D'souza. As an Ex-Catholic, I have a few questions:
1) Why do Catholics pray to ''infant Jesus'' or the statue of Mary with baby Jesus in her hand when the Bible clearly portrays Jesus as someone who has ascended into heaven as a grown up man and seated at the right hand of God the Father? Is Jesus still an infant baby?
2) Why do Catholics pray to saints like Peter, Paul, John, etc. and not Moses, Elijah, Jeremiah, etc. as well? Were they also not men of God whom God used mightily?
3) Why does the catholic church preach about Purgatory as a place of punishment with little fire for the purging of the sins of children of God when the Bible doesn't talk about it? Do they mean to say indirectly that the price that Jesus paid on the cross by shedding His blood is not enough to be saved that God has to send people to Purgatory with little fires for 200 to 300 years?

Rev. Father .Do please pray for my grand nephew to believe in Jesus Christ He has been baptised but his parent joined the Born again Christians. Mow after many years they r back in th Cathollic Church.He refuses to believe in God.He is married and has a daughter in UK.I have been fervently praying for him to come back.last many months.He is a magician there.His grand parents(my brother and his wife) were very pious .I am 92+6mths.I hope they join back before I die.
