Thanks Brother for this summary. Had a quick question though.
I am planning to go next month for Umrah, for Fiqh Jaferia, we have to physically do Ehram at meeqat. Now that i am traveling with family from US and then traveling to pakistan, so i will have few large luggage pieces...I was thinking to rent a car from Jeddah and drive to meeqat and then Makkah.
In your experience, how easy or difficult it is for someone to drive in state of Ehram?

Hi May Allah bring you Ease in your Umrah Performance .
Not an issue you can rent a car directly from the Airport and it's about 60 dollars per day from Airport approximately.
Secondly it's not difficult to drive with ehram . If you think it's convenient for you.
But I recommend you get a driver with you and get rid of the tension of parking the car and etc
