  • Making the toolmakers clamps that ‪@d.graydraftinganddesign361‬ over in Canada sent me a while ago. This video is Part 1 and will document the making of the floating and fixed jaws.
    Please check out Doug's website. He has many unique and fun kits that you can purchase to make in your own home machine shop. They are very reasonably priced and you can purchase the whole kit or just the plans to suit your budget.

    Great job Aaron. At the 5:35 mark I did notice that when you were tapping the 8mm tap into the hole. The tap was touching the spacers that hold the work up.

      I’m thinking of doing just that mate. Not to sound treasonous… but the Melbourne shows do seem to be bigger than Sin City.
      It’ll all depend on how big the pile of shekels grows before then 🤣😱🤣

    Would be handy to have a set of 4" size clamps. Most are so small they don't hold very much. Are you planning on Parkerizing them afterwards?

    • @AaronEngineering
      @AaronEngineering  Před rokem

      G’day Steve. Thanks buddy. I think Dianne would like a larger set to clamp my head in them lol 😆. You taught me a new word today with parkerizing. I have never heard that term before. Cheers 🍻
