I bought this years ago and it still works great! I record practice tracks with this and upload so my band mates can work on their parts at home too. It's awesome and makes practice sessions so much more productive!
Can you please tell me what kind of Studio Monitors are compatible with the br600? Active or Passive speakers? Also, if I do not go the Studio Monitors route, can you recommend small, portable battery-powered speakers (if active speakers are necessary) so I can be fully remote and record off-grid on a camping trip? I don’t want a power or solar generator. What are my options here?
this was my first entry into recording music with my guitar and it really boosted my enjoyment of music by having all those drum patterns I can jam along to, it's a shame though since my effects button is stuck on and I don't think it's easy to fix because of the pressure sensitive buttons :((
Just dusted off the BR900CD…traveling a lot for work, so I’m going to set up a mini studio in my hotel room. This product is ideal for that. You don’t need the 900, but it’s what I have and still portable. Oh yeah, and mine was purchased in 2004 or 05’, survived the flop houses and house parties, cross country trips and multiple homes, west coast to east coast to sunny, humid Florida. Still kickin’. Worth every penny…

Can I record a synth using input 1 and 2? Connect left output from the synth to input 1 and right channel output from the synth to input 2? Do I need to adjust the panning for this on the Boss BR-600?
Yup, the effects are great. The BR-600 is a monster. The mics on it are great too tho, vocals and acoustic guitar, even both at the same time. I used to record band practices on it too and it always sounded great.
This video was more helpful than anything I’ve seen so far, even 13+ years later!

This video feels like it’s from the late 80’s
is AB Loop seamless? No gap when going from end to beginning?
I think sadly there is a one second interval either end of A and B

Wow
Are you plugging the guitar jack directly into it? Like does the sound come out from it?

Need headphones or speakers
Hi! Can I record a keyboard?
Yes there is a balanced line in. Just watch input volume, plenty of headroom needed.

Utility> Track Edit> Track Erase> Select track ie. 1/2V1. Erase.
