UPDATE: Many of y'all commented that you can get the pal to stop attacking in time before you throw a pal sphere as well as the fact that you can increase the work stats of a Pal by 1 by condensing it. ATTENTION!: OK, heaps was missed or simply incorrect.... not the video makers fault but I feel it should be clarified. - First, you can upgrade pals logging along with all of their assignment stat's simultaneously but only a max of 1 extra point, so that monkeys lvl 2 logging can reach lvl 3. The issue with pals killing your boss? You can quickly command a passive state so your pal will stop attacking or just call them in. Pals level up the exact same ways as the player and with levels it's more than just stat boosts, its also new skills. Pals lvl via battle yes but also just by being in your party they gain the xp you get, they also level from just being at your base doing all the tasks you set them on so they will continually grow while your not even there. Pals also have IV's for attack, health and stamina, which players can also manually increase or Breed for, they also have 2 other upgrading methods via soul donations and another that increases their overall stat's and when maxed will increase their assistance skills i,e the logging. Food is important, to start with berry's are just an introduction method to get you to understand the whole different benefits of raw and cooked foods. Cooked foods can give many different buffs and was one of the main contributors to my win over the legendary raid boss newly added. The pouch helps you separate food you want your pals eating as they causally drain their own stamina exploring the world with you to the foods your prioritise for certain occasions. The game is still in early access as mentioned so many new things are in play and will be added as it goes. Strategies was mentioned as a favour but then the balance of inventory was rebuffed, though I considered that also a strategy. Items you wear and tools you carry with you in the world, food items, balls, materials to bring back also the fact certain pals contribute to your weight and what drops you may get when out hunting all add careful planning and strategic decisions before leaving the relatively safe area of your base. Just like pokemon has battle strats, Pals has battle and open world strats to make you really consider your party for whatever goals you have. The game is deep like you said and many players miss many systems inside, I'm still finding new things and exploring certain systems.
Yeah I have logged 30+ hours and because of all the things going on I didn't even realize you could level up a pals work ability. There's just so many things to make do and explore it's an easy thing to miss

THIS GAME IS CRAZZZYYYYYY, it literally never ends, you have so much to do, and for me the best by far is the PROGRESS SYSTEM, extremly natural and also, extremly funny. In the higher levels it's pretty difficult to level up, but every level gives you somehing that it's worth it ❤
Players can actually Seed, water, gather and cook farmed things without assistsnce from pals it's just extremely slow however pals make it alot easier especially since they can do the jobs while you're away. Condensing pals can help with raising base stats but fully condesnsed raises the work skill ability by one as well as level up any partner skills to full potential. The game is more like Ark Survival Evolved/Valheim more than Pokemon it shows in the Building and technology menu..
So they addressed the pals killing ones you want to catch. the player can equip a Ring of mercy meaning you cant go past 1 hp. Pals can have the Trait Mercy hit which does the same thing. You can also get more tech points and ancient tech points from dungeons.
Finally got the game from the Steam Sale, and it's alot mroe fun than I thought. It reminded me of the old days when I played Minecraft, steadily surviving and building my base up a bit.
Pal's getting hungry does have an impact on the efficiency.! There is a ring u can wear so its not possible to kill pal's but insted keep them on 1 so you can catch them, also you can press e in the match, to call your pal bk and then catch. You can also press 4 to command them to stop attacking. So many options. Happy Pal hunting.
So.. i watched your video and something(s) i want to tell you. You're complaint about your pals killing the pals your trying to catch at low hp is something you can avoid in three different ways. The first is to just recall your pal. The second is to make the mercy ring or buy it from a merchant. Thirdly there's a passive skill called mercy hit which your pals can get and pass down in breeding as well. If you use those you and your pals won't kill the pals. Unless they get poisoned or burned in which case the pal will die from the tick damage from those. However you can also avoid this happening by just switching out the moves your pal is using before you go into the fight, just pick moves that don't do those status effects. I don't think the downed status would be good as it will make it too easy to capture pals. Especially boss and legendary pals. Those are supposed to be challenging, not sit there like ducks letting you throw spheres at them. That also kinda removes the fun out of the fighting system which is real time and not turn based like Pokemon. If you're going to come back to a game six months later you might want to check out all the updates you missed for new information. Which this video shows you did not do. They haven't just added new pals and bosses. You can also get books to get more technology and ancient technology books by doing dungeons or butchering pals like Anubis to get more points (Anubis can rarely drop the book but it's no problem if your butchering Anubis for lots of large souls anyway.) Also you're wrong about there being no way to level up their working stat. You can condense pals and when your pal gets up to four stars through that their working stat can go up by one. Jormuntide Ignis for example has level four kindling. Well if you condense 116 Jormuntide Ignis's into it it's kindling will go up to level 5. Not only that but your pals stats increase as well when you do this, making them stronger. You might want to try that out. Almost everything you brought up can be obtained more than one way in the game and you didn't bother to do any research on that which does the game some disservice and spreads misinformation to other people that don't know much about the game like you. When it comes to food you can make food that have buffs on them, also the game is a SURVIVAL game and you just want hunger to be removed because you find it annoying? Not going to try and find ways to overcome that? okay... Also carry weight isn't really an issue anymore. They've added meteors that can sometimes be supply drop crates that land at your and other peoples bases which always has potions that you can use to increase your stats. If you just stay vigilant enough to collect those often as your just playing the game you will get potions that can increase your carry weight. It's not always guaranteed you will get the potions to increase carry weight but it really isn't an issue. Another thing you can use to mitigate the issue of being encumbered by weight is to use the grappling hooks. Just shoot those at the ground, ceilings and walls and your character will zoom over to that spot despite their weight. Hell they've even added a new armor that gives more carry weight, but that is late game armor so it's understandable to get little annoyed at that. But at the same time that gives you something to look forward to do for late game. Also may i introduce you to do the new NPC that sells the potions that can increase your stats? You can always find that NPC at the forgotten/abandoned churches. Might want to check them out and learn how to do that.

As for the "accidental Pal K.O.s", you can wear the "Ring of Mercy" or have Pals with the Passive Ability "Mercy Hit". It prevents them from K.O.ing Pals you're trying to capture. Edit: As for the Technology Points and Advance Tech Points, you need to find the Tech Manuals. Usually, they come from Alpha Pals or just when you go through dungeons.
Thanks for keeping an open mind and trying this out. We all love Pokémon but lets bring the cat out and admit that palworld is just the right kind of fun we would like today. The game caters to a market that enjoys the fresh take to the pocket monster catching genre we love. Palworld may be of the similar take but it is not a pokemin rip off 👌
There's more nuance to food then I think you found in your play though. There are foods that increase work speed, attack, defense, and make sanity deplete slower. I also didn't like the food system in the beginning until, like everything else in this beautiful game, gets way better later on in progression.

6:40 wrong, your work stats can be upgraded by 1 by fully maxxing your pal's ability 9:45 also how comes breeding isn't that interesting? it's literally the biggest part of the endgame lol 12:00 the food system works this way and gives you a way to automate it because of a simple thing: simulating upkeep. You want to use bigger pals for your base? be ready to have to give them food, same as the squad ones. This thing can also be automated in any base, resulting in you just queueing some food
Not killing the Pals? You mean Mercy Hit? You can unlock a ring you can make and some Pals have the trait (it's a red trait, considered negative). They won't take the last HP if they have it.
Bro got so many things wrong 😢.. you cant make food that increases player attack or work speed or defense also you can make food that makes you stay full longer as well
I simply cannot trust CZcamsrs because you never know who has a monetary vested interest in the game soooo. I finally got bored needed something new and bought Palworld.I am a big fan of the type of genre and pets breeding having played Ark?atls a LOT. So I was a bit hyped I had the energy to dive it BUT the first thing I felt was similar to all those Asian console games that seemed best played on a controller. So it became very frustrating to try and map keys as there are limitations that did not allow the key mapping I always use it is designed to be first and foremost a WASD game. So I had to spend way too long to think about my every key press and it never became easy or comfortable because I had to use keys i was no where near comfortable using. The game itself was far too grindy and not in a good way it is like spend hours first trying to figure out how to do what should be easy tasks sifting through keys and menus. I put in about IDK 4 hours or so and still have no clue how to use the Pals for certain tasks example combat I put down a Pal and it just kept running all over the place I couldn't catch up until about 1 minute later it stopped and I put it back in the box. So my biggest peeve is that the game is not designed to be user friendly it is a cumbersome game to play exactly the reason I quickly gave up on so many Asian controller games.The game world is also quite generic again the same thing I saw starting way back in FFX to all those other again Asian games.The one positive was exploring was cool because you can pretty much climb everywhere but then find a treasure box>>>>"lock picking needed" lol NO clue what so ever how to do lockpicking as I looked through the TECH and saw nothing so again more cumbersome needless research to figure out what should be much simpler.
