    Very helpful as I get ready to install my wheels. I hadn't thought of fastening them with clamps. Great idea. Thanks.

    Thanks for the video. I’ve been looking at this boat for a long time so it’s good to see someone with a complete setup video.
    Does the boat fold up fine with the wheel mounts installed? Any potential for damage to the tubes while it’s stored folded up?
    With the wheels installed, is there still room to mount a trolling motor on the transom alongside a gas motor?

      Thanks for watching. The boat does fold up fine with the wheel mounts installed and after lots of unpacking and packing, I have not noticed there is any sign of damage to the tube made by the mounts. As for whether there's space for a trolling motor alongside a gas motor...yes and no...I had used a Minn Kota 55 pound trolling motor while the gas outboard was mounted, when the gas motor was stop and tilted, I was able to put the trolling motor on the transom over one of the wheel mount, and it worked just fine. But when the gas motor needed to be lowered, the tilted trolling motor will get in the way of the turning of the gas motor, so I had to take it away from the transom and put it on the floor until I needed it again, then put it on the transom with the gas motor tilted. It's a bit of work but it served the purpose.

    Thanks for posting this video. I am considering this boat, but I have been hesitant because my goal will be to carry it with me in a small (single engine) plane. I can't figure out whether the (deflated) boat will be too cumbersome to load into the plane. I know it will be too large to load through the plane's cargo door, so I'll have to be able to hoist it up in my arms while climbing up one step and then onto a wing, then into the plane's cabin.
    I only saw you 'roll' the deflated boat out of the box. What are your thoughts about being able to pick it up like a backpack or wrapping your arms around the deflated boat and being able to carry it?

      Hi Craig, thanks for watching. The deflated boat, after putting in the bag that it came with, measures about 58" L x 29" W x 20" H (actual measurement), and weighs 110 lbs. I was able to wrap my arms around it and moved it for a short distance with some efforts, but it's definitely not as easy as carrying a backpack.
      I keep the air floor inside the boat when deflating and packing it up. If the air floor is taken out from the boat, then the package size would be smaller (there's a session of wood board underneath the air floor that takes up space), but then you'll have to carry the floor separately and install it when you want to go boating (takes about 8 minutes).

    Hi, can you give me the brand and model number for the electric pump that you used? I had been watching so many videos and so many searches and finally pulled the gun and ordered this exact same boat. How are you liking it so far?
    Thanks!

      Hi, the pump I use is OutdoorMaster 20 PSI pump. We have used the boat a few times in different lakes in California. So far we found the boat is comfortable and spacious for our family. With full throttle of a 20 HP Suzuki outboard, the fastest we had run was 18 mph.

    Did you put a motor on it ? If yes how many hp

      @technicallyk  Před 2 lety +2

      I have a Minn Kota Endura Max 55 and a Suzuki 20 hp outboard for this boat. This boat is rated for 15 hp max, but at the time I was shopping for an outboard last year, inventory was super low and the price was crazy. I eventually found a good deal for this Suzuki 20 hp from a nice man at local with only 7 hours of use. So I went with that. The boat handles the 20 hp pretty well and it goes on planing very quickly.
