- I'm Harpreet Kaur, and this is my story. Growing up in a very strict family, my childhood was tough. My father was extremely harsh, and I often dreamed of a hero who would rescue me. In 2005, I married an army officer, hoping for a better life, but I found myself in another strict and disciplined environment.
My life changed when my son Angad was born, but my relationship with my husband deteriorated. When I discovered his interest in another woman, I felt devastated. My family urged me to adjust, but I decided to prioritize my self-respect and left the marriage.
Leaving my mother's house with my son and a few thousand rupees, I faced numerous challenges. I started working in schools but was humiliated by principals who knew I needed the job. I tried various ventures like interior designing and modeling, but nothing worked. Financial independence became crucial for me, and I faced depression due to lack of support.
Just when things seemed bleak, I reconnected with an old friend. This emotional support helped, but we were still struggling financially with over 30 lakhs in debt. I started working in different schools, taking tuitions, and doing modeling assignments to support my family.
One day, a tarot card reader suggested I learn tarot professionally. Initially skeptical, I decided to give it a try. This journey taught me the importance of financial, mental, and emotional independence. My husband, Abhishek, also learned numerology and Vastu alongside his real estate job. Our financial situation started to improve.
Despite this, we were still struggling due to our huge debt. I accidentally became a coach when my clients asked me to teach them tarot. Our first tarot batch was held in our living room, marking the start of our journey. This created a new income stream, but our loans and EMIs were still overwhelming.
When the COVID pandemic hit, Abhishek’s income from his real estate job dropped to zero. As my financial situation began to improve through my work in numerology and Vastu, Abhishek encouraged me to take my tarot reading business online. "Harpreet, you have a unique gift. People need your guidance, especially in these times. Let's try taking your business online," he urged. Initially, I was hesitant, but with his support and motivation, I finally agreed.
