Newburyport, Massachusetts is a stunning small seaside town an hour north of Boston, Massachusetts, full of world class eateries, art galleries, whale watches, and gift shops. A short ride from downtown Newburyport is the stunning beach village, Plum Island. Primarily serving as a nature and wildlife preserve it offers vintage New England beaches, sand dunes, and saltwater Marshes. Much of the preserve is off limits to the public to protect its natural state and wildlife. The drive from Plum Island to Newburyport brings you through the heart of Plum Island over the salty marsh that separates it from mainland Massachusetts.
I hope you enjoy the scenic drive Plum Island to downtown Newburyport, MA with its breathtaking views. Yup used to pull up to entrance to beach they had spring loaded spikes ,get the boards out of truck lay over spikes good to go.....@@MileMarker4k
That's the way to do it! have a few places like that with a similar history out in central mass. Not nearly as fun as plum island would be though@@ronprice2127
