A favela da comuna 13 lembra muito as favelas do Brasil O Rio de janeiro por causa do teleférico mas lembra bastante São Paulo também

@@LouieManza It is good that you love your country, but looking at the statistics, the amount of population, and the number of percentage of each ethnic group, Brazil is the first most diverse country in Latin America, even in America in general, and Colombia is the second.
Both countries are very diverse and beautiful, but you have to accept that Brazil is much more so.

Rami I've been watching your videos for awhile and to me this one was one of your best. I had no idea this place existed until now. It reminds me a bit of the favela outside of Rio de Janeiro that you visited last year but this place was much nicer and more developed. I was intrigued to see that series of escalators on the mountainside!
I guess as winter approaches in North America summer is approaching in South America. Even though they were at a high elevation most people weren't wearing sweaters or jackets.
Were you filming during a holiday or special occasion? I can't imagine that the Comuna 13 favela is so crowded on normal days!

This neighborhood is historically significant to the civil development of Medellin. The local teens provided intelligence and the army provided tanks to civilize this commune from criminals. Fasinating history here.

What camera do you use to film this ?
These are the poorest areas in Medellin .you only see people working, lots of street vendors, people building their own houses and colourful neighborhoods. It’s very different from poor areas in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Vancouver, San Francisco, Paris or other developed countries full of homeless people, drugadicts, drug dealers, people under a plastic cover and living in a tent in public parks, streets and downtown areas. I think it’s even worst in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Africa and South Asia. At least they should learn how to give the people the right to work, to build their houses and neighborhoods.
