This song speaks of the cry of Africa for its stolen children: the men, (the fathers unable to protect their children) in mourning and the Women's, (the mother's righteous anger) battle cry to retrieve that which was stolen from her. Excellent!
More like sounds like what they chanted as they stole their neighbours to sell to spanish and the british on the coast for guns to kill more neighbours and steal more neighbours, and fabric to wrap themselves in so everyone knew they were the boss, and didnt have to wear animal skin anymore.
