I'd like to see what voltage you get on load. Simply measuring the open circuit voltage doesn't do it and it will load right down when you connect the motor. The 72V is simply switching spikes that are being stored in the 100uF capacitor. If you were really getting 72V, then the 24VDC, 120W motor would be getting 3 times the current, ie, 15A, and it would be dissipating 15x72=1080W. It would burn out within a minute. Your circuit is not a voltage booster at all; all you are doing is switching the motor through the FET. And you may as well leave out the toroidal choke because it's doing nothing at all.
Also, at 2:00, the 1N4148 is not a zener diode but a simple, low current, silicon signal diode. At 2:40, the 4k7 resistor looks like a 5k6.
can the 4148 be replaced with a schottky diode and other high frequency diodes?
Why do people make such foolish claims? The circuit is a joke. The 73 volts is the FET avalanching (aka, the coil CEMF beating up the FET that is only rated ~55 volts). To get 1200 watts you need 73v X 16A on the output, and if it was 100% efficient, is would be 5 volts in at 240 amps! LMAO

Copper wire swg 19, you can use 3.7v 12v maximum 7 Ah battery. No problem for mili second short circuit
Booster does work but there’s either no power or no endurance. Only boosting voltage is not very useful. Thanks for sharing 💕

Very useful if one knows how to make useful. By using buck ups/downs you can utilize free current voltage in all your house land line fone outlets that must keep even if your lights are turned off still be able to use 911 emergency call #

@@billykulim5202 I too think it should attempt to draw too much current unless the circuit is current limited. A 73v 1000 watt DC motor like this circuit is supposed to drive is very similar to an early style treadmill motor in voltage required and in watts.
Granted most these days are multiphase brushless motors used in treadmills; it wasn't always the case. I have salvaged many early motors from old treadmills over the decades.

Very good one. I was going to do one with an op amp base driver bc everyone loves 555's but i can never find them (i use all scrapped parts). I have one with just a more simple blocking oscillator and single 9013 that will take phone charger input and hold a 24v dc relay. But im having trouble getting a bigger one to go at the moment...
Oh also i have a very nice very simple circuit for charging 2 18650's from a phone charger which would work to power your device from a charger...i think.

the diagram and the circuit components arent the same like the diode you mentioned 5408 in the video but in the diagram you mentioned 5422 and the ceramic capacitores you mentioned 220nf but in the video but in diagram it is104 what is the correct diagram
