Ep.1 : The members of the Swan Club show off their transformation after constantly practicing ballet. However, as the level of difficulty of the lessons gets higher, they become exhausted. The members of WJSN visit them with gifts to cheer them up. Meanwhile, the Manager Seo Janghoon introduces a new member of the Swan Club.

She studied in the Royal Ballet School and was a member of the National Ballet Company. But when she knew that she was getting rusty, she didn't even show arrogance to re-learn on her own. She willingly decided to train back from the start like any normal student. How can I not love Wang Jiwon?

I can't believe JiWon her back is still so flexible after quitting for so long, I quit gymnastics and my back can barely bend even tho my legs are still flexible
Well if you quit when you were still growing it makes sense cause you get les flexible as you grow and need proper training and stretching to keep it ip

As a ballerina I really like this program. the cast is perfect because is varied (they had a professional/beginner ballerinas). I hope they explain every single move without forgeting any detail, maybe they cut some part idk
I understand 100% how jiwon feels, I stop dancing when I started the university, and now that I have a little of free time I can go and dance, but it's so frustating because for ballet dancers it's so easy to lose the trainning...
I hope Stephani can join this program tho, I love her in hit the stage

Same! Im a dancer and I stopped for a month and when I came back, I couldn’t do a proper left and right split. Just shows dancers that they need to stretch every minute of every day. (Im not university tho, im grade 4)
I love Cheng Xiao's and Ji Won interactions, it looks so cute and fut to watch:) It looks like they are becoming good friends:)

JiWon was a professional. She danced ballet for 15-17 years with the ballet company (along with their instructor), but got injured and hasn't danced for about 8yrs that's why she's trying so hard on this show.
Im not usually the one to watch programs like this but im curious to see how well they do so its interesting ^.^

The Swan Club is like The Unnies Slam Dunk season 2.... JiWon is like YeWon who use to be sooo good but not scared to learn it again, Cheng Xiao is like Somi and Minzy who are young and talented...Yoona is like Kim Sook who is hardworking and carelessly good....and SungEun is like Chaeyoung who is a mother that gets better as time passes. Right? Or is it just me?😂 lol

I've always admired those that did ballet from a young age and stuck with their craft. I feel like all little girls are signed up for ballet classes (myself included but it's the generic, public-friendly classes at the YMCA) While I think it's a great casual introduction I also think people tend to underestimate ballet since it looks so fluid, graceful & easy until you actually try yourself and realize if you're not committed and if you don't start from a young age it's hard.

@@The_Super_NOVA Happy to hear! If you want the whole aesthetic and got some money for it, have fun. When I started I was good with a pair of soft dance shoes (ballet/jazz kind) but some of the girls had plain thick socks as beginners. A pair of leggings and a t-shirt is good to start with. As you get into it you might find things you want to add (better suited clothes, leg warmers for warm-up etc). Good luck to you!
Also, additional afterthought... It can feel awkward at first because you use muscles and movements that are new and not very natural in everyday life. It helps to mentally exaggerate and "act" like a ballerina even if it feels odd, usually opens up the lines and posture better!

As a classical ballet dancer for 14 I’ve never in my life heard a tutu being pronounced as “tui tui”

Tutu derived from the French language so it tends to get pronounced a little more exaggerated. Tui tui is the correct way to say it but when said quickly, it sounds more like tutu.
I used to do ballet every week but the place i practiced at shut down and the space was converted into a flea market venue place and i had to give it up. i was only a child but i loved it. i really do miss it but there arent any dance studios where i live unfortunatly

I remember watching the original episodes so I was surprised to see this. I think those were considered "pilot episodes" and this is the first official episode of the show. I can see why it can be confusing to viewers. Aside from the strike, I also think they had to start fresh because the actress, Seo Jung Hee, is no longer part of the cast (which meant they couldn't show much of the footage from the original episodes).
The original episode was always labelled as a pilot, even before it first aired

No, unfortunately. I haven't come across any information on what happened to her. I do wonder if it was because she had difficulty keeping up.
There were two episodes back to back. There are a few sites where you can still stream it, like on drama3s. There were proper introductions of the cast and you got to see their first few lessons together, so it was really good to watch.

Mochi Love yeah there is.. 2 actually. You can find them on viki or any other website that has the show. But I suggest only watching the first and second and returning here. Bc by the 3rd episode on most websites it seems out of place.
They seem to have rebooted the series after the first two original episodes. There was a fifth member...an older lady (Seo Jeong-hee?)...that they disappeared since in this episode there's only 4 members.

You can search the Korean search engines with the Korean name of the show. that's how I found it. It's a combined 2 hour pilot.
