I walked into Ul'dah as a Lalafell named Leviathan and saw a Viera using the broom emote on a sleeping Lalafell. I stopped, and said "A clean Lalafell is a Happy Lalafell.", gave a salute, and then ran on with my tasks. The other Lalafell waved, and every time we encountered each other after we would do a quick cheer. :D
I love/hate seeing Lalafell tanks in my parties. I hate it because it's easy to forget where exactly they are at times and I love it because just the thought of this tiny potato running around pissing off everything in a 50 meter radius is just hilarious.
Not saying everyone should do this bc people use functions in their own ways, but I always right-click lalafell tanks at the beginning of duties and select something that says "select as target" - it puts a big arrow over their head only you can see. Helps a lot playing as a healer.
Always make sure your boots are in good repair before visiting Ul'dah. I hear they roam the streets in packs there and can skeletonize your legs in seconds.
I have had this happen multiple times in preatorium roulettes. We concluded that the only way the lalas keep hitting the buttons is making the roe pick us up.
MSQ lalas: 99% of them are evil and makes you want to destroy them. Player lalas: adorable potatos which you secretely wish had an entire alliance raid made of them
I haven't had an alliance raid, but I have had one whole alliance group be all lala once. We dubbed ourselves group short stack. Our antics and constant emotes at each other (even mid fight) had the other 2 groups rolling with laughter. Was a damn fin time.
They’re so adorable, though! I love seeing Lalas. The joy emote melts my heart. I saw two in Mor Dohna a day or two ago, a couple. One had played dead, while the lady one panicked, and wept. I, as a Paladin Miqo’te, prayed for the fallen, and to my surprise, got a kissy heart from one of them. Rock on, Lala players. Rock on.

I just play lalafell because I like the classic Final Fantasy black mage and characters like Vivi plus lalafells proportions fit the FFIX style. They're the perfect race for the black mage job for that classic feel. I know many hate lalas but oh well, at least I'm not one of those weird lalafells and just enjoy playing the game normally with friends. They're also similar to Bravely Default character proportions another franchise I love.
Lala's can make your day. Mostly if you hang out with some of them in Limsa. Or when i was new player in the game a random lala just stoped before me and huged me and comforted me and it was heartwarming for me . + Lala players can be funy too .
I don't know why, but somehow I developed a real sense of fear for ending up sounding racist or offending people when I talk about Lalafells at this point... when they are literal fictional characters in a video game lmao
My thighlander was once in a dungeon (and she’s a whm, so even more apt) with 3 lalas. I felt like I was supposed to be the mother of three lunatic kids loose in a shopping mall.
As a Roegadyn, seing Biggs throw Wedge up in the air to land into the Magiteck Armour always made me want a Lalafell party member. Just pick them up, chuck them at the enemy as they shred through bad guys.
newbie player here, I picked a Mi'qote cause the girls have the closest look to some of my characters. I am just running around in limsa trying to figure out where to go for some quests and this random lalafell runs up and pets me before jumping up. I sat down so they could properly pat my cat-eared head and got a hug too. this game is amazing
Wat i like about lala is, you can sort of let out your inner child with a lala char, and everyone around you will think its normal. They will play into it, and treat you like a child if you want
I started to play FFXIV as a Hrothgar (my main character), I also made a Miqo'te and few days ago, a Lalafell... And oh god as I love to play as my Lalafell sometimes with my best friend. We run everywhere, saying hello to everyone, sitting next to some people and just chilling there. That's how we made friends and I now understand why Lalafell are so appreciated ✨ Oh and also, few weeks ago we met the cutest Lalafell disguised as a little ghost, they were trying to scare us but they're so adorable, we can't be scared by them.. xD Now they're our friend, we love to see them in Limsa and sometimes do dungeons ✨ (Btw sorry for by bad english 😅)

Bruh FF's power scaling as a whole is wack; if you compare in-game stats Xaela Au Ra have the highest Strength in the game-- as in, those tiny Auri girls beat out both clans of _Roegadyns._
@@ojamarojo1301 They mattered in ARR when it was the only part of the game, the racial stats also grew as you leveled back then. Which meant a Roe would have noticeably more strength than an elezen with gear/class being equal. As in actual damage numbers would be noticeably different. The god you chose also had a much bigger impact originally. Giving you different bonuses to stats helping to either maximize your racial benefits or shoring up weaknesses. Honestly it is a good thing they changed it or the meta would have gone right to hell horribly upon expansion after expansion compounding it. so they kept the minor stat differences but those differences don't actually GROW anymore so it is very minor, and god choice is flavor only now.
I used to cosplay Kid Goku as a lalafell and would have the "throw" emote macro'd with chat telling you I gave you a senzu bean. I'd do it to anyone who I noticed targeting me.
It amuses me when seeing NPC dialogue about what a brave and strong hero I am, and they are talking to tiny potato. 😊 It's even funnier when an enemy is being evil and sending several huge guys to fight said tiny potato ... and tiny potato wins. 😂 My lala girl likes to help and be frend. 🥺 But if you are mean asshole, you will feel the wrath of angry potato. 😡
