The bass player is good but he just doesn't provide that traditional CHIC bass thump that the late Bernard Edwards exhibited. I didn't hear Toni Thompson like chops from the drummer either although he, like the drummer, was excellent. Only Nile (obviously) and the keyboard player was on CHIC point. No disrespect, just saying.
