It's a blessing her and her son were not harmed or murdered. I hope her cat is alright. People that are violent definitely harm animals. Typical psychotic behavior. I went through a similar situation many years ago. My ex broke into my apartment and destroyed everything and abused my animals. He killed my fish and cut up all of my plants and clothing. I escaped and my cats, dog and parrot recovered. However, my landlord and the police were not supportive. I pray this woman and anyone that is victim of abuse escapes and heals from the trauma.

If nobody went to the police to report them for any bad behavior, nothing would come up.

One of my friends has had such horrible experiences with me that she ALWAYS runs a background check after a couple dates if she's see potential. Last dude had multiple meth convictions.
She ended up getting almost 40 K with a Go Fund Me and money people donated. If I meet a new guy- background check. Psych evaluation and 3 month waiting period, DNA test, check sex offenders websites.....

If they try to rush you, that's a serious red flag. Not wanting you to meet & get to know their friends, family, is another.

And while I will agree, there is often some red flags in his baggage, but if he has kept under the radar about getting caught, if his family isn't around to ask (and if they are, then if they are willing to admit bad things about their offspring) and if his friends are more loyal to him than to an innocent girl, and thus willing to lie, I couldn't see how it would be easy to spot, before he went apeshit.
That's actually scary..imagine trusting someone and giving them a home and not knowing that person could just kill you, glad he was caught by the police and hopefully won't touch the woman or any woman again lol

I had to lock myself away in the bathroom. As I was on the phone with 911 I kept telling please have them hurry. He chopped through my bedroom door and was chopping through the bathroom door. Luckily just as he broke the door, the cops got there and tackled him from behind. If they had been even 30 seconds late, I would have died that day.

My dad used to destroy my things as a kid and teen... I can only imagine that kiddo walking in to ALL of his stuff being ruined and destroyed. Children have no business in adult issues. I have mental health issues and am so blessed to be able to call someone and hide going to crisis centers from my daughter, or being aware enough to hide an oncoming break down.
My mom did the same thing to my things. Anything that had been given to me by someone who pissed her off, burned in the fireplace or smashed with a hammer. People are crazy.
This was a punishment for me as a child. Extremely traumatizing.
My ex husband knocked down my furniture took eeeeeeverything out and covered it in used cat litter and pissed all over my clothes, mattress and even the curtains while they were still hanging. We were together for 5 years, married for 8 months, I had caught pictures of a coworker (who I already suspected of) in lingerie and when i caught it, he tried telling me that they were just close friends. I even moved to another state for him to be close to his family. He was very controlling and had lost jobs due to his anger issues and after the coworker thing I was done. When we came back to AZ, he took me off the insurance to our vehicle without me knowing to have even more control. We got into our last huge fight and I was exhausted and still had laundry to do I walked away from the fight to go to thw laundry mat and he threatened to report the car stolen and I said you can't the car is mine too. Surprise! He also took me off any kind of ownership to the vehicle with the help of his mom and I was officially DONE. I kicked him out and left him. Then he ruins my shit as if I was the bad guy here. Some people are unbelievable.

im so glad this lady and her son were not present for all of this to go down. I hope local churches or charities in her area can help repair what was damaged in her apartment and help replace some of the valuables she lost. I think it’s nice that Layze could bring some humor to such a dark situation but Im glad this lady managed to get all of this documented and it’s being taken seriously. I hope she managed to get an restraining order as well. I can only imagine how traumatic this was to her but her son as well, having to come home and see all of his toys and everything he knew destroyed. I also hope that she can get those pictures with her son reprinted or that she has digital copies of them so that way she still has them.

My x did that to me. He even gave out items of mine (some personal) to people randomly. He also never returned me the half house we bought with our mutual money that we both worked for. I'm doing good now. About to start my own business, don't worry. But then- i needed help, i did not have more than 2 pairs of long pants and two hoodies and one single pair of shoes.

lol my ex did something similar , also poured cooking oil all over the kitchen and into all my plants... madness...I did cry over the oil and my plants to be honest...everything else was easy to clean and replace except that
