I have to say back when we were kids, we couldn't fully appreciate how great the arrangements were in these tunes were. Maplestory shall live forever in our hearts.
all my friends muted the bgm and played their own songs, I was the only one who paid attention to the music. I'm glad I did, and yes, it lives forever in our hearts

@@pietrogiacone702 It's funny, is something no one intellectual will describe precisely this experience we had playing specifically this game. And i had seen much people in this same eternal nostalgia of maple and it's art. To the rest of the world, it was such a random game, but playing a lot of games anywhere, MMO or not, this experiencing really was different

Toward the end of my Maple life, I used to just sit here in Nath for hours talking with friends... took forever to level past 190... the feels ;-;
Once I was hanging out with one of my all time friends of this game, and it was a round christmas. We were chilling in the freemarket, en this one guy came up to us, and started saying: 'it is christmas, I want to give away my stuff', we were like, not this again, but there was something very interesting about this guy and he insisted we come with him to el nath: 'the place of christmas' he said. Then there, he started talking about his values and beliefs, how we should love each other and not hate. That life is not about greediness but kindness and giving things, also in the theme of christmas. This went on for an hour, and it was such a nice hour, with this man, and one if my buddies at the time. He eventually gave us (godly) eqps, AND he gave me this VERY RARE chair from way back. I will never forget this. I wonder where you are xTheBeastx, I hope you're doing good. What a beautiful bgm

the BGMs with acoustic guitar and piano like the login screen, orbis, and el nath get me the most. i remember sometimes just sitting in the el nath pot shop after i repotted doing nothing just so i could listen to the music...

Writing this comment to make a time capsule for myself.
After having played all day and night, right before I'd get ready to lay down and go to sleep, I would keep MapleStory running in and would fall asleep to alot of it's good/old bgm tracks. This one was one of them.
Take me back to those simple and memorable times where we were all younger and playing together through the golden years of MapleStory.
An Aran was here once, kept siding back and forth.

i miss grinding levels at lion heart castle :/ it felt so long yet when u were at 119 it felt like such a short time and once u hit 120 it was so weird to just leave and never go back there again after meeting all the random strangers, exp boosters..
Used to run the Orbis Tower gauntlet with my little brother to try and find Aqua Road when we were noobs. And of course, we got lost and wound up in El Nath.
We did eventually find Aqua Road lol.

Then, you turn around and look back at your newbie days as a veteran now.
Eugene Lum Days when you mainly kill monsters just to level up..lol. Now I am smart..I spam quests to level up..Duh.
Just gonna drop this little time capsule. Seen somebody else do it. This game brought me so much joy. From the first coming of Cygnus knights, to Aran, to kanna and so on, from the dexless bandits to trying to crash my screen in the alien world with xenon. It’s been years but I’m happy to know I can come back to listen to these BGMs and remember joy. Joy that many people don’t get to experience, a joy that I can relive-grinding my nights away in my mom's computer office. It feels good to feel good.
When it clings onto the dominant chord then the slap bass comes in, I just laugh for how good it is.
So, here I am again. I spent a lot of time making new friends and discovering new worlds. Absolutely no regrets. Happy 2022 everybody

Because of Zakum and Coolies, I used to sit here or slide around with my friends, F2-ing to any stranger I met. People would say hi and take off their snowshoes and slide around with me.
COOLIES! It reminded me of those toxic-breathing zombies! As a Priest it was so fun to bully them with Heal. Ah the memories.

honestly i felt that el nath might be one of the biggest nostalgia in my childhood. even though we might have spent more time in henesys or orbis but el nath was were many of the higher level content was at (during the early early days like pre big bang or something). the endless grind to 120 at lion heart castle. zakum raids. and many more.

Ella no recuerda en que momento nos conocimos en el Maple, pero yo si recuerdo el momento exacto: ella se dirigía a zakum, era un night lord de nivel 98, me dijo que buscaba scroll for gloves for att, tenía dos de esos escrolls, se los cambié por 7 millones de mesos, me agrego a su lista de amigos diciéndome que si conseguía más ella sería la compradora. Desde ese momento ella me invitó a sus party, me llevo a mi primer zakum, me regaló una mascota con sus accesorios. Hace 7 años que nos conocimos en persona, ahora ella es mi novia y esperamos pronto casarnos. Ya no jugamos Maple por falta de tiempo, pero siempre entramos a ver qué hay de nuevo en el arce

I was 5 or 6 when I started playing this game when my brother and sister introduced me to this and as a dumb kid I didn't kno how to login or nothing but I remember every single day in the login menu I'd cry till one sibling got home so I can login and meet new friends or be excited to train in a area with a full party and have conversation

시간은 계속 해서 지나가고 메이플을 했던 기억도 점점 희미해져 가지만 브금을 듣기만 해도 실제로는 겪어보지도 않았던 추억들, 실제로 본 적도 없는 장면들이 머릿속에서 떠오른다.. 온갖 생각들을 하면서 혼자 메이플을 했었던 게 고작 몇 달 전인데, 이제는 그때의 일조차도 옛날 일이 되고 시간이 더 지나가면 추억이 되어버린다..
시간은 계속 지나가고 있지만 브금들과 그때의 일들은 모두 멈춰 있구나..

The amount of love and effort areas in this game got compared to how many people will actually be there to experience is absurd.
Most games put most effort on the starting areas, maple has the same amout of love to even the most distant and abandond places.

Back in the days when getting to level 85+ was a long and tedious task, getting here feels like an accomplish on it's own.
As of today, I am 18 years old. I remember joining maplestory on 3rd grade. My main character was a Wild Hunter and I quit right after hitting level 200. Soooo many good memories from old maple I miss the old days. Today I am playing on Reboot ( used to play on kahini ). I am a level 258 Kanna with 5000 Legion. Grinding for fun and still enjoying the game

I used to play this game all night when I was 11-13. Absolutely crazy about this game. I love all the memories that I made, and also love all my in-game friends. Time flies so fast🧚🏻♀️

I played way before 4th job even came out. And this was the hub. Cant forget it’s tune. But you know what, I can’t forget leafres either once 4th job came out. It’s funny how we consider el nath to be old back then, but now leafre and every other map we used to know are old too
not tryna be that guy (especially since not many people will see this anyway) but like
its sad to me that people who weren't part of maplestory back then won't be able to understand anything, like ANYTHING. how dynamic the community was, how different leveling was, everything was different. i miss this so much and reading these comments about everyone else's memories is pretty nostalgic and it just reminds me of how many people were on maplestory, how many different kinds of friends we could've made... maplestory's soundtracks will always be one of my favorites... lmao i can't even explain how im feeling right now that well but yeah...
i hope everyone ive met and just anyone that played maplestory years ago are doing well :)) we've all had maplestory as a part of our lives and i like to think that it's affected us somehow.

At 0:00 I always feel like I’m at the edge of a forest and the clearing is super bright.
At 0:08 as I get adjusted from the brightness, I’m at a beach, no one there, it’s almost sunset and the sky is orange and I just relax at that beach listening to this tune
A beach? Nah, never, I can only ever think of this snowy place and the hot chocolate you can get to keep yourself warm

I remember this place were one of i most used to farm exp and also to listen this music, i kinda miss the times i used to play MapleStory. For me, this is one of the best RPG games i played

I remember doing the 3rd job quests, getting the damn dark crystal was so expensive and hard and if you made a mistake in the questions part, you had to buy another one, and you use to look for the correct answer on internet... Memories

I always felt like this was the ending song to the login music, and having to climb down that whole tower from or is to get here, the 3rd job advancement guys were here, I stopped playing around when pirates came out long before big bang but this feeling of being there is so strong all these years later
