Sticky art great video one tip from a professional, when using colors always add the bright colors first than darker accordingly. When blending always from the bright side to darker. (As long as is what you want as technique) when pressing a Posca do not press always from the same angle and quickly youll ruin the tip. Press slowly and from different angles while pressing. no paper at all is the wroong medium. THose colors are ment for impermeable surfaces or at least not too much porous surfaces like prepperd wood or rocks. You can avoid wasting color by prepping the stone with some light transparent coting. When the Posca have finish their life span remember to keep them and use them within your artworks as a sculpture or else. Or ask to the factory in how to properly recicle them. I personally avoid trowing in the bin because its just wrong since they are made of mixed materials. So I have them since my childhood and I am going to use them in my art. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle fellas. Great colors. Hope I wrote them with my feedback, I hope that they start make recyclable Poscas asap. from recycled material and a way to disassemble and reuse parts. I’m Getting Posca Markets For Christmas This Year. This Helped Me Know What/How To Do.
I've taken numerousl online art classes since the pandemic. I noticed that a lot of artists use Posca markers. I ordered some in from Dick Blick ... different sizes. It will really help to know your tip for what you deem the best all around size. I've been using them on paper ... good paper ... and they work really well. Thanks for the video. You covered quite a bit.
I think the overall most versatile size are the pc-5m (for medium to bigger details and filling areas. The pc-1m is my favorite for fine details (it’s not of a brush shaped nib) it really depends on the size paintings you plan on doing!
