Dude you gotta use the pike charge ability more if you wanna take out archers with pikemen
I’d say that you should always try to have 1 unit if archer, to swords, and 1 pike. Have the pike at a choke point/a ledge so they can use the pikes against any attackers. Have the archers on high ground if possible so they can shoot but not be shot at as easily. Then have the swords ready so they can be deployed across the map. This strategy has won the game for me a couple times.
I use two pikes and one of each other kind. But the best strategy is to have an elite archer with heavy weapons
Also you should have the archers at the enemies’s landing area so they can knock them of their ships and then retreat to a choke point with pikes, with infantry at the ready to swoop in and take down enemy archers
I just use 2 swords and 2 archer
@@galaxy_noas1181 pikes are way better, they are far less accurate and pikes make all melee units except for the one with the throwing axes useless.
also the charge ability is amazing
What do i do i only have one pike two archer one with a bomb and three infantry units
Infantry kills archers
Archers kills pike
Pike kills infantry
So, awalys engage infantry with pikes, and awalys engage archers with infantry
Giants replace pikes for Vikings.
Except for elite viking infantry the pikes will get rekt by the throwing axes
What about infantry with throwing axes?

Great job my dude I watch many bad north no one has complete it at all
i see a pattern:
Drae never uses abilities
Blitz never uses plunge
Barron never uses pike charge
and non of them know how to uses archers.
I know right! Archers are pretty op in this game with good Positioning they can annilihate enemies while on boat before they aboard the island

I think it’s fun to find an island with no ranged enemies and use one pike troop to win single handedly
this is a great game, i feel like they can do a bit more though, more enemies and units would be nice, or at least an endgame boss.
Ther'es 3 unit types so it can be a kinda rock/paper/scissors, I think
yeah i know but there could be more upgrades or sub classes like spears or crossbows ect, i just think the game could use a bit more content

Berserkers > Infantry. Archers
To me it doesnt seem like the archers we get to use are currently any good....I'd rather have infantry. I think Infantry are the late game unit. Archers might be an early game unit?

Eh, both are the same in regards to goods and bads IMO. Baron cuts a lot of the stuff that I would like to see, while Drae, although he shows us almost everything, he's really bad with strategy and tactical games, the opposite of Baron. Overall, Barons better :p

Baron, low level archers areng great. They are best when leveled up completely at elite level. They are there to thin the herd and make everything easier for the other units. For that reason they are essential in hard mode.

Well bro very simple you need two unite shield mans and one unite spear mans just in case you can wipe out melee enemie,and one unite archer mans so they can hit melee enemies in there ship one of them will shield them selves and one of them will overboard😅

and also tell them to make it so after this last stand you will meat a nice giant who plays out as a squad but a 1 man team of the giant and if he dies he gets 1 extra life and you know troops are like hp and attacks to the commander but you can see his hp not by units but by blood on himself and hes a bit bigger and tougher thennormal and you can choose them to be balistas or warhammermen

Baron on the switch version of this they have ninja looking enemies and enemies that throw stuff at you and then charge you.
