i've honestly started losing interest in art cuz no body seems to be interested. i had like 200 followers and now i dropped down to 130 and it kinda hurts.. i've spent over 4 hours on each work and i get like 20 likes. i honestly appreciate my followers but no body really compliments me other than just liking the pic...thank you for listening my blabbering lol..
Aw that sucks, I know how you feel. Maybe you should take a break from posting, just do art for yourself. The number of likes you get doesn't negate your value as an artist.

@@Yume.P same. But I think I was too focused on doing a great grid that I wasn't enjoying doing my art because 'I had' to make the piece fit with the rest of my feed. I think that if the art style is consistent, then it can be pretty too :')

I post 3 times a day but I only get 1-3 followers a day 😔 and they unfollow me 2 days later

I feel it... it's kind of hard to be motivated to do anything when no one is interested in your work.....it hurts. I try to be positive about everything all the time but sometimes I feel like giving up

I actually heard that posting everyday can make a artist burned out more easily which can mess up your chain of posting everyday. Instead, I recommend post every three days. I’m just telling you ;) you don’t have to listen to me tho
I'm totally with you on that. I posted once a day for a month and was burnt out and didn't really get many more followers. I post less now and engage with other and I am growing albeit very slowly. But my mental wellbeing matters most.

@@crescentic_arts I totally get that. Once it's your business then it's a different consideration. That said I've started thinking of ways to get customers outside of using social media. I was born before it existed and I remember the benefits of that time. SM has it's place. You have to find and do what works best for you. All the best with your business. I hope it flourishes.

To be honest, I’ve always wanted to be a well known artist, and it’s been really difficult for me and I’ve only gained about 550 followers for about 2 years. But now that I’ve watched this vid I’m feeling more confident that I can grow, thank u for this amazing video

the issue with consistency is not actually opening the app and posting or 'forgetting to post' tho. it's not having enough content to post. As an artist, I cannot pump out stuff every single day. If you can - props to you, I guess

Although it's a little intimidating (and maybe unrealistic for me at this point in my art journey) to post every single day or even multiple times a day, I think a general theme I'm hearing in these advice videos is to post frequently--as often as you can. Noted. Thanks for the video! :)

I haven't seen it affect me especially when I was just starting out. BUT I have found that if you were inactive for a while therefore you have a lot of inactive followers or if you buy followers, it does hurt you because it tells the algorithm you have a low engagement rate.

I just have 110 followers and it might almost get to 120 but then it goes down, most of my followers are just family or friends and I just want artist to follow me because I like when people comment because it helps me see how my arti is doing, if I should do better or work on something

The people behind Instagram make a conscious decision to make it more difficult for users. THEY ARE NOT OK with people using without paying. They know people will purchase those sponsor ads if it gets too hard. (pause) And that's what people are doing. You never know who is out here buying followers too.

I have a bout 1200 followers on my account but it's not that I'm worried about
At the moment I'm not really worried if I lose followers even tho it would be nice to grow
I would rather have people like my posts because out of those 1200 people I usually get 100 likes and maybe a bit more. I have been noticing that the numbers seem to be getting harder to reach and sometimes I will have 90 or 80 likes after the first day. The thing is it's really hard for me to post daily and if anyone has anytips to grow without posting often it would really help

There's so much scams in CZcams comments these days, you can rarely see a comment from a real person. Only bots spaming spam sites. I have tried all of the sites for free followers, and only QuickFollowz works for me.
