Tata bought Air India for ₹18,000 Crore in 2021 which was struggling under gov control with more than ₹30,000 debt. Tata plans to overhaul it and make it one of world's largest airlines.

The topic is Air India, you deviated from the topic at 17:07 0nwards. Same as you did in your previous video - Bengaluru Airport (11:36 onwards). This deviation wasn't observed in other videos.

I agree, but Congress never liked it -unfortunately. From now on politicians cannot buy Economy ticket and travel First class.
The whole nation cheered because Air India was privatized. That was the right step forward for the nation.

I travelled with Air India and it was amazing. Despite their old fleet, I enjoyed my journey from Newyork-New Delhi-Dhaka!

Great video Mayank! Indian civil aviation will only become a tougher field with the introduction of more high speed rail lines. Flights under an hour or two will start losing passengers to high speed rail. This is of course, assuming that HSR is taken up soon in other regions.
I'm way more excited to travel on a train over a flight, so my bias is clear :P

What is focus city ???
Hub City is where an Airlines has a Base( Storage,Maintenance etc), Focus city is a Specific city where the Airlines fly to from Multiple Hubs.
Eg: Indigo has Hubs in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai
Indigo has Flights from These cities to lets say Pune... Which makes Pune a Focus City for the Indigo Hubs

What do you mean by Tata Sons ne kharid liya hai?? Air India Tata sons ka hi tha. When Air India started to go to losses, then Ratan Tata ji bought that aircraft to modernize it. Air India belonged to the Tatas only.

Air India gave me the worst experience. I thought I’d give it a try from NYC to Delhi it was bad. Every screens were not working. So I was watching two movies on my phone back to back. Flight attendant didn’t even bother to ask and plugged his phone on the socket under my seat. Hope they improve their current fleet or upgrade completely.

If you add up all the aircraft in ALL airlines in India (Air India, Air India Express, Akasa, Indigo, SpiceJet, Vistara...) the total is still less than any SINGLE top 4 US airline (Delta, American, United or Southwest). AI does not even rank in the top 10 by fleet size, revenue or passengers carried.
They shouldn't buy boeing carries excsot b777 and b787 as other carries are having problem and people are scared of it

Indian Airlines order narrow body aircrafts.Orders were for 10-15 years time period. Second India being very price sensitive market. So saying Air India is largest airlines in the world os false. AMERICAN Airlines is having 950 aircrafts at present.
