- How I use the new Dyson Airwrap 💁♀️
So excited about this new release! It out-performs the old generation because the barrels curl in BOTH directions. It’s so much easier than switching to another barrel when you want to alternate curls like I’m doing here. Being able to purchase my styler with all long attachments was also a big win. The new attachments work with the first generation base so there’s no need to buy a brand new styler if you already own one. And yes, the Dyson Airwrap is worth it!!! More tutorials coming soon ✨

What’s does the click at the end of each curl do exactly?
@@Nathalie7774 i think it’s because when you first curl it it’s warm air if you pull it back your hair will not stay on that curls for long time that’s why the last click is to blow cold air on it so the curls stay and won’t loosen
@@nipelali5006 yes but I’ve seen people do the click thing between curls.
@@Nathalie7774 the click at the top is to change the direction of the curl from forward to backwards
@@ivy.iscool Changing the direction of the curl changes the look of the hairstyle or something? I would think it looks the same 🤔

If you actually had one.. u would know that you’re supposed to hold the hair in the beginning in order for the airwrap to collect the hair properly. 😑

Thank you! I always apply a heat protectant to damp hair before working with any heat. I love Olaplex No. 6 Bond Treatment or No. 9 Bond Protector. Both are great!

Can you just blow dry and then do the air wrap to curl? Without having to pre-straighten /curl with a brush

Definitely the new model! It has the latest and greatest tech, enhanced attachments, etc. The airflow is better and there's more flexibility with the barrels being able to curl in BOTH directions. Plus, there's a new flyaway attachment that does an incredible job of hiding flyaways. Highly recommend!

How long does the curl lasts?
30 minutes for me, that too when my hair has a lot of texture and can hold any shape pretty well 😭
I can’t even get the bottom layers to keep their hold by the time I’ve started working on the top.
I’ve tried with damp hair, dry hair, with olaplex no6 and 9, without any product, with a curling cream, with extra strong hold hairspray, pinning the curls for an hour so they can cool… they just fall out even after following countless tutorials despite having a very tight and defined curl once removed from the barrel.
Went to the local John Lewis as they have trained Dyson hair technicians and showed her the products and techniques I was using and even she couldn’t tell me what the issue was. Just shrugged her shoulders and told me to ring up Dyson!
