Sounds just like Calooli Station amazing how sheep lanolin brings up the shine on sides of the 109 they follow it everywhere amazingly it supplies copious amounts of hay when required.
Loved the story! I have to say though that I kind of wished it ended with the mean pickup abandoned in the weedy pasture on four flat tires and Landy honking cheerily as he rolled on past...
