I frequently say to others that all this division in the Body of Christ is directly related to all these doctrines which are simply Traditions of men; And then I direct them to what Jesus had to say about traditions of men being held above God's Word. Also that the Holy Spirit is our best teacher. We only need to learn how to become receptive to His guidance.
You're absolutely right, my friend - it's not about religion or ritual. It's about KNOWING JESUS and having a PERSONAL FRIENDSHIP with my creator on a daily basis! The Lord Himself didn't like it either...cuz He saw right through it!

At 7:55 forward is what you are referring to I do believe...and no, I was refuting "Universalism" the belief that all are saved in the end. The scripture clearly teaches that there will be a separation of the sheep and the goats Matthew 25:31-46. Some enter into the Kingdom of Heaven and some do not. Jesus was pointing out that some people really have a relationship with Him, and others just pretended to have a relationship with Him through acts of religious duty. In other words, going to church will not save you, although being around believers in Christ is a good thing. Counting beads, and prayers to Mary or any other saint (or statue) will not save you. Lighting candles will not save you. None of it. The great news is...it's not hard to know him, and GOD MAKES IT SIMPLE. Anyone (including a big mess like myself) who calls on the Name of The Lord Jesus will be saved (Romans 10:13-15). It's as simple as returning home to a good Father (parable of the prodigal son). Call on Him (Jesus) to save you and make Him your everything. There is a Heaven to gain, and a Hell to avoid. Jesus makes it possible because He paid the price for sin for all of us. But we MUST choose! Life or death, blessing or curse. WHY? Because God wants us to choose...he is just by letting us have a will of our own. He gives us a choice. God wants real sons and daughters, not socialist robots. So, in short. Yes, there is a real place called Hell (2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment.) But God has made a way of Salvation through Jesus Christ.

Jesus hated the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which was the priesthood, which attempts to have victory over the lay practitioners of the faith. They want the authority to give people orders. Jesus didn't use authority that way, but as a teacher. To be like the most high is wanting to order people around and control them, not because God does that, but because that is what the most high men on Earth do to other men. Religion is man made, and so are kings. God didn't want Israel to have kings, but He allowed it because they insisted upon it. Men were meant to live by reson and law. False authorities always overthrow reason and law with force and violence. Inevitably, the church was selling the right to sin. We have the equivalent of indulgences today. If you are rich and you can kick a lot of money to lawyers and judges, you can break the law and get any justice you want. I wonder what Jesus said to the pope who complained that he sold a million indulgences in his name.
If you do not minding me critiquing you a bit, you did not really get the point across as well as you may have wanted to, rather you just focused on Satan and how he had been an extraordinary being but then randomly led it to religion being false. I personally used to make claims and arguments like this in my pasts but it was just a mix of a red herring and circular reasoning. I do believe though that there may be potential. Keep on studying and working on these points and I do think that you could improve a lot in both knowledge and your articulation of words. God bless brother, keep working hard.
