Born and raised in Israel to a mother who was born in Morocco and a father who was born in Brazil. Her origins in Arab and Islamic country drawn her to sing in her mother tongue.
She performs Moroccan Jewish liturgical poems as well as contemporary music in Moroccan Arabic and Ladino. she revives the culture itself, so that a new culture is born, one that is absolutely unique yet recognized around the world.
She collaborates with a variety of other Arabic musicians: Palestinian artists as well as Muslims and Moroccans in both Israel and abroad. In addition, she leads two female choirs and educates children about North African and Andalusian traditions.
𝗘𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗺 - 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀
A Jewish piyyut over 1000 years old, written by Rabbi Haim Ben Sahl in 10th century.
This Jewish chant can be understood as a love song for the bride, and so it does appear in the Karaite Judaism.
Many of the expressions in this chant are taken from the 𝘚𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘴, so the poem can also
be understood as an allegory for the love of people of Israel to God.
This chant is popular among the Jews of Morocco who perform it to express the great longings and the eternal love bond between the Holy spirit and the people of Israel.
    𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗻𝗮𝘄𝗮
The composition is taken from traditional Gnawa music, the Samawi song.
Gnawa music style arrives from Morocco and West Africa and relates to Islamic religious rhythms and songs pattern.
Its well-preserved heritage combines ritual poetry with traditional music and dancing.
The music is performed at lila, communal nights of celebration dedicated to prayer and healing guided by the Gnawa maalem, or master musician, and their group of musicians and dancers. Though many of the influences that formed this music can be traced to West African kingdoms,
its traditional practice is concentrated in Morocco.
Gnawa music has spread to many other countries in Africa and Europe, such as France.
Samawi

What an incredible singer and “guembri” player! I love the background singers and the lady playing the trumpet too. The rhythms are just fantastic, such an enrichment to the song. Actually this song vaguely reminds me of the music of Tamikrest, a tuareg band from Mali. Their rhythms sound somehow similar to this one. Which is again proof of just how small our world is 😀😀😀 Anyways thank you for the beautiful music and fantastic performance!!!

This is performance is influenced by the music of Gnawa people (as stated in the title), although the performers here are obviously not Gnawa.
Gnawa are the descendants of enslaved black Africans taken from Western and Central Africa to Northern Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia) centuries ago. That's why there's similarities with West African Banjo of USA, same cultural origins.

Oh my gosh how pretty! How beautiful! How ABBA FATHER must be pleased with y'all for producing such fruit unto H-m. I'm reminded of a Jewish princess i accidentally fell in love with. I see her everywhere I see Hashem. I miss her so much. But I know this is only happening in my mind. I distanced myself from her because she ignored me and I never wanted her to say I was harassing her. A total fool that I am for accidentally falling for her. If love is a choice. I'm a fool for choosing to love someone that chooses to not love me. Now I just want to be alone with ABBA FATHER HASHEM. I want nothing. No human love. I just want to return to my CREATOR. To live is to be away from H-m. To live is to sin for me. To live is to heap up sins against H-M and cause a gulf to further expand between us. Then why live? Because it's H-S breath of life in me still for H-M. I am H-S.
😂 Yeah whatever I'm bipolar and write stuff sometimes. 😂 But it's true... 😔

Truth I will speak to you! The vessels are filling, my father gathers them together. Praise for my lover, my husband trees planted by still waters...praise be to the most high for I have found a well for me. My husband built for me. I am in love and we are one! Honey I have found eyes bright. My lover loves me now I him. Who knew waters that live I happy and being filled with his love, I swoon and delight but rough is the wilderness but it is for me for rivers of living water flows out from me...

@@medigroupphysiotherapy7522 Allah simply means God in many Semitic languages, especially Arabic. Some Jewish diaspora, Samaritans, and even Christians in the middle East say Allah too. Its different from Islam were Allah is the actual name of their God.

You can't translate the name of the God, when a Muslim use another tongue.
      (It still Allah!))....
Still Christians and Israelites around the world use different name for their God. ❗
