- I had to do another Peter and Gordon classic since I had a clean digital copy I got from a friend. I'd like to also do "I Don't Want To See You Again" if I can get a copy from a CD. Hope you oldies fans like too!

one of the greatest songs ever...they don't make music like this anymore. Sort of a haunting, echo of the sixties.
So happy to have lived through the 60's and 70's music the soundtrack of my
teens and early 20's
The 60's was the greatest time to grow up and listen to music such as this.
Today's music doesn't come close to 60s music!
This was written by Paul McCartney.
@@moemcgovern7345 Record says Del Shannon?
great song, great arrangement, great memories of a great time, thanks Peter & Gordon.
When I was a junior in high school I would play this over and over and over. My girlfriend and I broke up after going steady since our freshmen year. This song has always been "her" song. When we started our senior year I asked her to go to a football game and we stayed together and got married a year after we graduated.
This is my favorite song by Peter and Gordon. My girlfriend and I began going steady in our freshman year of high school and all through our sophomore year and in our junior year we broke up and she dated another guy. This song haunted me the entire time and I shed a lot of tears listening to it. Early in our senior year I asked her to go to a football game and we were back together! We got married a year after high school and stayed married for 17 years. It was one of those "life choices" that we sometimes make that we look back at later and wonder why we did what we did. We both remarried, but today we are friends and that's good for us and our kids and their families. But this song was the one that always brought tears to my eyes whenever I played it and the memories of that time in my life is still poignant.
props
The greatest harmonized duet ever. Just melts me .
Also Hollies
It's right up there !

Brings back a ton of fond memories.
This song reminds me of a Girl I had a crush on in High school
my favourite Peter & Gordon - not surprised its written by Del Shannon (R.I.P.)
The 1st song not written by the Lennon and McCartney team. It was written by an American Rocker. When they approached Del Shannon in Australia in 1964 because they were in tour together, when they asked Del Shannon about this song. Del Shannon no doubt knew who was writing songs for them. He let them have this song and it became a hit for Peter and Gordon. But Del Shannon knew they were great singers.
Del was SO underrated yet so talented.
@@joegongora2200 Aside from doing a cover of "If I Fell", a song penned primarily by John Lennon, all the "Lennon--McCartney" songs performed by Peter and Gordon were written solely by Paul McCartney. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_and_Gordon#History
@@joegongora2200 It sounds like an Early Beatles song
Definitely better than the original. Its as though this is what it sounded like in the studio. Thanks for the work. Very enjoyable.
Some songs are instantly recognizable, this one is a perfect example. Just fabulous
A very haunted voices, i remember where only AM radio was only available during that time,
Good and fond memories of my younger days.
I hear you Rhonda .I was a young boy when this song came out. I'm 64 as of May 28th. The 50's , 60's and 70's were definitely the decades for music.I got my first guitar on Christmas of 1971 when I was 14 and a half and I could already sing but with my guitar now I copied the music and vocals. I then stated to write music and lyrics back then. That wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for all these great songs and bands that came out back then.Music isn't just a fun hobby it's. my life .It became a way to cope with depression and anxiety,Etc...
This song is the love story for a woman named Carolyn. It ended badly, but I still love her after 37 years, even though we haven't spoken to in this time. When occasionally see her on a street corner I get shaky and feel so weak.
Del Shannon knew how to write a love story and condense it down into the form of a beautiful song.this song being a perfect example! I also can relate this song to past heartache, but I found strength to come to terms with my greif by the emotion of the song. It's like someone knowing what you felt before you did, makes you realise your not the only one to go through that hurt, so hay! Your not alone in feeling those sad emotions.. Hope love is kinder to your outcome in Life my friend.
Indeed, a very relatable song. Perhaps that is what makes it so special.
And tell your blurred eyes to look to other women in short shorts hahaha..
I first heard this the day I found out my first crush wasn’t interested. Shattering. That was in 1971, 6 YEARS after Peter and Gordon released it. I saw her again later at another friend’s house. We talked and laughed about 7th grade. Now it’s all a fond memory, and I still listen to this song.
i love ds music when i was 16 years old, it was 60's.
These kinds of songs are the only means by which men can communicate their true inner feelings.
Del Shannon would love this, Way you treated his song... This BY FAR was Their Best Recording...
Yes she broke my heart this song is for you Irene
what great music. how can you not sing along with that song. their are times I wish I was young and back in the 60's. then their are times that I don't. however I never ever seem to get tired of the music.
Very beautiful song
One of the first songs I cried to as a lonely, young, heartbroken, teenage boy .... It still haunts me, and this version is intense ...... thanks. ..... P.S. Peter Asher looks just like Mike Meyers as 'Austin Powers" in many of these photos ....lol ...
Peter Asher was the prototype for Mike Myers' Austin Powers character. He mentioned it in an interview years ago.
Me too,
I can relate to that
late fall chill it's actually the fictional character Austin Powers looks like Peter Asher.......he had the look first.
This is the Beatles !
Steve barri and Phil Sloan were musical genius producers and songwriters putting this great band together
They truly don't make songs like this anymore.
What a blending of voices!!!!
could listen to this over.and over.and over
Love this song 🎵 ❤️ 💕 ♥️ 💗 😍 🎵
I go to pieces evertime I play this song - gorgeous silly heartbreak.
Love thier songs since 1964 when I was only 8 years old ! This is such a pretty song !
I was only 8 too what the heck happened One day I couldn't wait to be 16 to drive and date and now wow time does fly
It's 1965 Patti...⚘🙋🏻♂️
Great duo.
Blended perfectly together.
Love it.
😄
The late Del Shannon wrote this song for Peter and Gordon but rarely gets mentioned for writing such a great song.
Del was so great 😔
One of the songs that captured my soul back in the day and remains very high on my favourite list. Great melody and fantastic lyrics. Who could want more......
the old songs are the best
Beyond Gorgeous!!
this is one of my wife’s favorites. all I can say is this is one of the all-time great songs,
I loved it at 13, & I love it now, at 69 yrs old. Makes me think of the one that got away, when I was 22 (Michael). I've had my fair share of boyfriends, but I can't forget him. 💔
Hahaha you must went to pieces then..
Thanks for enhancing it. It sounds great especially a song that was written by an American & not the Beatles. They heard Del Shannon demonstrating the song when he was on tour in Australia 1964. They told Del Shannon they'd liked the song. Del Shannon said yes to them. The song became a hit for Peter & Gordon. It sure is a wonderful song. Peter and Gordon were wonderful performers.
“I remember what she said, when she said...” love that line and believe some broken hearts never mend. P & G got the feeling Del Shannon wrote about in this song!
Beautiful music - beautiful lyrics.
Written by Del Shannon R.I.P.
The music from thus period had an energy and passion which no longer exist in the 21st century.
Want this played at my funeral.
When I was 15, Carol was my first girlfriend and she was 14 years of age. We were neighbors since kids. She was a dark hair Italian beauty, and I was a blonde hair skinny kid. That spring she grew up in a hurry and was no longer the little girl down the street. We hung around together that summer of 1964, playing cards and table games at her house, and sneaking a kiss when her mom wasn't looking. I thought "this was love." But it was not to be. When we returned to Junior High School, she broke up with me and resumed a friendship with someone in her class. Then a few months later... while I was still thinking of her, this great song by Peter & Gordon was released, and it captured the loss of my first love. I bought the album and I'd turn the volume way up when I played this vinyl on my portable stereo... and my mom would yell at me from downstairs to turn my music down. After a few times of that, I'd wait to play this song when mom was out of the house, and I'd bounce the sound vibrations of this song off my bedroom walls. The 1960s were a great time to live and this song was a big part of that time for me. But in time several years later, I was sent to Vietnam... it was then that I grew up in a hurry...!!! Funny thing is that Carol and I married the next people we dated and both of us have two children. Carol and I bump into each other once in a while and when she smiles, my mind immediately goes back to my memories of the summer of 1964...!!
Aww
Thank you who uploaded this song ,sad to say Gordon Waller passed away of heart attack, they're legend,
This is one of several songs that got me through my junior year in high school. My girlfriend and I broke up at the beginning of our junior year. We started going steady during the eight grade. We got back together in the fall of our senior year. We got married in 1966, a year out of highschool. We divorced after 17 years, but we are now friends at least. She was my first true love.
I've heard Their Songs 100's of Times in my Life, & I never get tired of Them. Peter & Gordon were 2 of a Kind. THANK You, C-35... -for keeping Them sounding so Fresh. :)
Joseph Kranski, II ain't that the truth I especially love this track because Dell Shannon wrote it
Attention all you Peter & Gordon fans! I just produced a HD stereo version of 'I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN" and when I uploaded it to CZcams they banned it. Here is what you can do to get around this nonsense. Send me a request at my direct E-mail (jedinight17961@yahoo.com) and I'll send you an mp3(320kbs) direct from the original wave file and send it back in the attachment. Kenn
I’m just discovering your fantastic enhanced versions of oldies. I’m blown away. Thank you.
One of the best pop/rock songs ever.
Love this songs it has always been a favourite of mine
I was 13 when heard this for first time!!! And still same power.. Thank you..
I was 13 also and I still get the same feelings I did from way back then. The greatest music ever written was between 1960 and 1969.
A most wonderful Peter and Gordon s lovely love songs my favorite .Many pretty pictures lovely . T Q
Song still hits my Soul. 👍🏻😎
It hit my soul when I first heard it. I am 75 years and it still has that effect.
@@jun24juanhuerta14 Right On Pal..👍🏻
One of my favorites
one more beautiful song
Just a great tune....Thanks for sharing!
NICE WORK! 😉 I never get tired of this song.
One of the greatest 12 string guitar intros ever recorded. Most cover bands try to 'push' this song a bit and consequently ruin the precise 4/4 time signature and 112 BPMs.
Actually I think Hotel California has the greatest intro with the 12 string with Don Felder.
One of five songs I've selected to be played at my funeral.
Man, how great this is? The recording is done perfectly. Great job! Love these two guys.
They sure don't write em like that anymore!

Please listen to REO Brothers do this!!! It's Exactly like the Enhanced Version. They are a low budget Pilipino Group with 4 part Harmonies! Also do Beatles, ELO, and others! Gotta give them a listen!!
Cuts right through!
Oh my. My god I remember. Yes she did
Another sad song that really conjures up feelings of nostalgia and longing for my past. Great job pal. Thanx 4 the memory! - Bob

I am curious, why would they ban it? All the songs you have enhanced and your many followers.
I saw Peter Gordon and Jeremy Clyde (of Chad & Jeremy) in concert two weeks ago. What a wonderful event! It brought back a lot of memories.
Thanks Kenn, thanks for adding this gem written by Del Shannon! Ron

It brings back my high school year life was so simple no gadget to play simply with my friends
Saw these guys at the Alexandria Roller Rink (Va) in 1966 - a then unknown guitarist named Travis Wammack opened for them with "Scratchy."
Peter & Gordon done it again..
This song was right up there with the Beatles, aloha
RIP Del Shannon
Wow! Loved it back in the day and love it now. Beautiful!
Late '64...Boston....on to things new and exciting....but it only got better....Stay the course!
Very cool, sounds awesome
I swear, I heard this exact version playing on 87.7 MeTV FM! Someone must've liked it enough to broadcast it somehow.
I remember laying in bed with my transistor radio listening to the magic.
I go the places we used to go...
brilliant recording of a great group
Thanks that no turkeys have posted a "still listening in..." squawk! Although P&G music is so timeless! Ahh memories. Good job with the music - far out!
I am blown away by how beautiful this song sounds now that you've enhanced it! I subscribed to your page (or whatever you call it!). I don't know how you do it, but the songs you enhance sound amazing!

Thank You !
haven't heard this song in forever.the old songs are the best
The least, the last, the lost, the lonely...
When music was music!
Awesome recording! Gordon Waller, RIP .....
Happy 74th birthday Peter Asher!
When you hear these songs after decades of not hearing them I'm astonished at how good the persormances and song writing was. Yea, it was that good! TAKE THAT, Rap!
Yup--these songs are COMPOSITIONS! Del Shannon did a great job in creating a melody and chords that is mesmerizing. This is exactly what is missing in today's music. I don't even call it music--I call it trash! This method of making beautiful melodies and chord patterns has been abandoned by the music industry. Those songs had a high standard in music excellence and it has been replaced by talent mocking buffoons of today!
My rule is this; "If you can't hum it, it's not a song" you can't humm rap or hip hop.
Just another great song bringing back memories from almost 50 years ago...
50年も経っても古さを感じない名曲です、イントロのギターが大好きでした
WOW! THEY DON'T MAKE SONGS LIKE THAT IN TODAYS WORLD.
"She hurt me so much inside." Wow
Thank you for the enhancement
I still rmbr & hav that album w the 2 red fone booths. Flash from the past. Luv these songs.
Gordon RIP.
These guys just make me feel good when i listen
Thanks to the late Del Shannon for composing this song.
The song I go to peices is a awesome and excellent song and I love this song and I added it to my playlist. It is a amazing song and it's so amazing.
Audio Time Machine. I just went back 50 years to when I first heard this at age 10.
Del Shannon wrote this. I didn't know that.
@Irv K I didn't know that either!
It sounds like An early Beatles song
@Terry Quesenberry I didn't know that before, but I know it now!
