Awesome collection! Pretty sexy seeing all those response cars haha especially the Volvo v60 and the slicktop Range Rover. You even caught the Blood Service running on blues which basically never happens! I'll wager you'll never see a Blood Biker using their lights though, I don't think they're actually able to! Just for show haha. You are missing something though buddy, you need to come up to Cumbria and capture our Mountain Rescue Land Rover Ambulances responding!
I think its an patient transfer but the patient can breath themselves or have trouble getting oxygen in the blood so the ambulance is fitted with a machine that oxygenates the blood?
@@MinecraftStadiumBuilder2134 Quite some weight to it then but definitely produces that lovely sound alright. There's another fact I've heard about the bells here but I forget!
to me this is just stupidity the Ambulance is on a main road the road is empty there is nothing at all to impede that Ambulance and the Ambulance is driving slow in a 40 miles zone, my hold idea of emergency is some thing critical and race against time, you have on emergency light and you are driving slow and taking you own time you do not consider other road user that they have some where to go, I know that you have delicate patients but by the time the Ambulance reach where it is going that patients would be in a worst condition people that is in authority see them self as supernatural and above the law, I do not see it that way we are all equal if your are a police you are a public servant so why is a conversation with the police always one sided you give respect to get respect not because you have on a uniform it is only you alone that is expected to speaks, you never want to hear another person point a view there are no open communication with people that is in authority and the general public it is just you do as you are told are you be arrested.
this is a first for me I all ways think that a Ambulance always speed up in a emergency I had no idea that a Ambulance all so slow down in a emergency, you have a 40 mile and hour zone and the Ambulance was not even doing 30 miles and hour with nothing at all to impede that Ambulance the road was clear, that is one of the reason that people have a problem with authority, they make laws that do not make any common sense at all, a emergency to my logical thinking I always think that it is a race agains time, if the Ambulance is travelling so slow how does that classify as a emergency.if that is how all these Ambulance operate no wonder so much people die before they reach hospital.
Your comments are rather foolish and show a lack of understanding and imagination. I was a medic on a frontline emergency ambulance in a major city for 17 years, so am amply qualified to explain. If a critically ill or injured patient is being worked on in the back of the vehicle, en route to hospital, then a constant moderate speed, without rapid acceleration or braking, is what is required. The medic(s) in the back are often standing or kneeling and completely unrestrained, whilst sometimes carrying out a variety of intricate procedures. When I was driving on lights and sirens, I would not drive particularly fast (30 mph would be typical.) At that speed, I rarely had to brake, and by using a ‘slalom’ technique, I made good progress. This afforded a comfortable ride for all on board and gave time for other road users to assess their situation, enabling them to move out of the way without panic or harassment. There are so many ‘fly on the wall’ type programmes on TV these days, that I think most people understand that the patient treatment starts when ambulance crew first encounter the patient. It’s not always a case of ‘scoop and run’ at breakneck speed, in order to get to hospital, where the ‘real’ treatment begins!
Can't be flying round corners if they've got an active CA in the back now can they, gotta make it safe for the patient and the crew. The crews know what they're doing and they have reasoning behind everything. No need to be such a skeptic let them do what they do best :)
