- Today we'll be learning more signs from American Sign Language (ASL). I'll be teaching you some food words, such as butter, chocolate, cake, cookie, and more. Of course saying the yummiest things is an important part of sign language!
To actually learn properly, may I suggest getting your information from native deaf speakers, such as from Handspeak www.handspeak.com/, or the best is to find a local class taught by a deaf person!

So a good idea ! I always wanted to learn this type of languages and you give me an opportunity to learn few words. Can u do more of this kind of videos ? So useful and interesting. Plus, it's actually relaxing.

I graduated high school two years ago and haven’t found an ASL class in college, but I’m so happy that I’m still catching all of your fast finger spelling! I thought it would be overwhelming but after my years of my ASL teacher (she was deaf and also wonderful) spelling at the speed of light, other stuff isn’t too bad! Haha

@@tingledom ive been signing cake and cookie 24/7 today! my mother works at a school with autistic preschoolers and they are nonverbal so they sign! been asking them if they want cookies lol!

Are you fluent in ASL? I took a class as a kid...I don't remember a ton, but remember a lot of letters and things like boy, girl, mom, grandma, dad, grandfather...etc. I'd like to learn more!
Nah I'm not fluent. I'd say I at least used to be conversational, but I'm way out of practice. Had to look things up to do this video!
Do you live off organic things like in the woods no hate or affense
My love and I actually are trying to learn more about bushfoods and such, but have very little knowledge on it. We eat a pretty normal typical diet (including meat).

Just a tip! I think you should learn a bit more about deaf culture before you try to teach it :) even if it’s just for fun some deaf people can be offended
That's very generic advice from a base of assumptions. If you have specific advice about something that you think I've said or done that is particularly offensive, I'm all ears, and of course will do research into that.
