Lyrics:
Stoned is the way of the Walk
Stoned is the way of the Walk
Well, it's the Alley Cat puffin' on a hootie rat
Some think I'm a criminal but, yo I ain't all of that
Hit'cha with the baseball bat when ya wanna ill though
Wanna mess around, you get fucked on the hill bro
Kick it like a steel toe, real slow hits from the bong
Make me feel like Cheech and I'm kickin' it wit' Chong - Hudba
This whole album was a masterpiece
🙌🏽✨🔥💯
I’m older now (mid 40s). I liked a couple tracks off this album back in the day. I’ve been playing it nonstop the last couple weeks. I never really played this song. Part of the beat was used in one of my favorite Tribe called Quest songs. Vibes and stuff. They both used it well.
One of the best hip hop groups of all time. I wish rap sounded this good today.
Unfortunately it’s underground gotta search hard.
It was GREAT being a teenager in the 90s with this stuff floating around! We seriously need time machines!

THE FOUNDING FATHER'S OF SMOKING BLUNTS.. AFTER THAT EVERYONE STARTED TO RAP ABOUT SMOKING... DOPE ASS BEATS
The first time I heard this song was when I was living in New Orleans with my mother in 1991. It came on the radio mixed in really well with a House of Pain track. I thought it was all the same song for a grip. I still have the cassette tape that eleven-year-old me recorded it off the radio with. Fun times. Dope track.
Muggs was insane producing bangers throughout hiphop
I knew the 90s would be memorable. Love that some people are loving it again, I never stopped.
Word never stopped
💯feel the same
Me to👊🏻

Class of 92'! Bumped this all night on graduation night. In my navy blue 84 cutlass supreme
I had a 77 for awhile with the 350 4barrel great cars. I filled the trunk with speakers lol. When this came out though I had a 87 VW GTI class of 94.
This song blew my mind when I first heard it as a teen in the 90's
Hell yes! One of my mom's best friend's introduced me to this! I was like 12 years old! An ULTIMATE classic in my eyes. Peace, love and stoned... for real.
stoned is the way of the walk
True
Still 🔥 30 years later!
I will always love CYPRESS HILL
I'm not a huge fan of rap music, but Cypress Hill is so chill and relaxing, how can you not love'em.
You just like them because Muggs is italian and B Real is a white latino. Better believe B Real and Muggs relate more to the ‘hood than to people like you.
Real Hip Hop for life.

RIP my twin soul "Mark" (4/26/73-7/1/03). For some strange reason, Cypress Hill always reminded me of you... I had the urge to light up a B&M today and this song simultaneously came to mind, "Stoned is the way of the walk"!
Man, this was the days when rap was truly rap music and not what I call "Crap music"! Miss you Cypress Hill!

Same Dj/Producer, Dj Muggs. He also produced Funkdoobiest and Depeche Mode and many others. The man is a genius.
Dj Muggs made the jump around beat for b real .he wasn't feeling it and gave it to their friend Everlast who loved it and killed the lyrics for it in a day in his garage...peace from northern California. Cypress Hill Soul Assassins! For life

Same as you RG. Got my license, took moms ride and 2 cars worth of my boys, went south to rocky point in Rhode Island for my first concert. The Soul Assassins Tour. To this very damn day, if I smell even a fume of indonesia, my membranial column is instantaneously werped back to that effin building. (The sense of smell is tied to memory in the human brain far more than any other sense. Holy s-balls, right!?! That's science!) It was such an amaz psychoALPhadiScoBEtaITSaPsychobetaBeatdownBaBY ing night. They patted us down at the door THEN HOW DID EVERY PERSON IN A TEN-SQUARE-MILE RADIUS OF THAT SHOW HAVE SURPRISING AMOUNTS OF DRUGS!?!? I think I'm still at that show. Can someone call an ambulance if I blink out SOS with my eyelids?
