I strongly dislike people who are only in it for profit. Ive been playing Pokémon games on GBA, GBA SP, DS’s, GameCube, and I was never into the card game until about 2019, i still play a lot of Pokémon on the switch but at this time im more interested in buying sealed product to keep sealed and I plan on opening a lot of my collection with my future children
I’m kinda in the same boat! Been playing Pokémon ever since I can remember. Started on Gen 2 but collected cards and watching the anime before. I love my sealed collection but having my fav cards in slabs go hard! Working on sorting out a collection room soon!

I also like some of the other sets individually.
But your last sentence in particular just got me thinking. I have the Greninja card and am thinking about selling it now. As you say, it's high right now.
Honestly I think greninja is gonna drop like $100 at some point but I could be wrong!
Temporal forces is pretty good, the more I look at it the better the artwork is. I feel like in terms of SIRs Atleast, probably the strongest art wise we’ve had yet. None of the art I’d consider bad atleast
I definitely should sell my greninja card but man oh man I can't seem to sell cards I pull and wanted so bad I really wanted the carmine and greninja and glad I got 1 of them in my first booster box
It’s hard to part with cards but I think it’ll go down a lot in like 6 months! Maybe could sell now, and wait to get carmine and greninja for what you sell for 🤔 always a tough decision tho!
Predicting big sell off on Twilight Greninja when the Shrouded Fable Greninja promo comes out. One could argue which is the better art, and its hard to tell without the promo in-hand, but I think that it will shift a lot of focus off the Twilight Greninja.
I think it’ll shift the focus for sure but because it’s a promo, the new one won’t be worth much out the gate. I’d expect like $10-$20 raw when it settles. Greninja will Deff drop a bit for it though
Paradox Rift booster boxes have been great to me. I have pulled two of those Groudon IRs and many golds and SIRs. Better luck with booster boxes than any other product in the set. Def worth trying a few.
Agree on that Roaring Moon, one of the cards i've not pulled, favorite from that set.
I got the Walking Wake in Japanese, the texture on it really helps. One of my favorite SIRs from that set, and I felt the same way.
walking wake in JP is insane i have 3 copies of it, its definitely one of my favourite paradox pokemon along with Roaring Moon.
I bet the Japanese walking wake has amazing texture! Might need to get myself one!
Congrats on the good pulls! I think booster boxes are Deff the way to go with SV especially that first block of sets!
Funny watching while ripping my last $88 Twilight booster box and typed out getting wrecked half way wish I kept sealed. Update Carmine SIR on pack 29 with 14 hits with 7 packs to go. So far a Gold, 2 ace and SIR made my $88 back wish they didn't sell out.

I don’t think this card is gonna crash hard it’s gonna go down but I see it going down to about 150 at the least lol and you should want this card because it could potentially be one of the biggest cards in the set . No one has seen a card so what greninja ex is doing . It had already dripped then sky rocketed with no market manipulation. Unless a better top card comes out next set then I think you will see it drop to about 150 at the least
The Iron Crown is $55 bucks right now, thats a major steal. I might trade some dupes and see if I can grab another one. I have two already. Pretty iconic card and beautiful. Pull rates are similiar to Greninja. Sure not as popular, and idk how much room it has to grow. I can see it at maybe 80 bucks down the road. So if you're collecting and dont have one, I'd recommend getting one. I dont see the price dropping much lower. Better to get it now vs saving maybe 5 bucks and missing the boat completely.
I can agree! I think pull rates are a bit easier than greninja from what I’ve seen but still tough! I also thinks it’s gonna be one of the top SIRs long term! Deff worth scooping it up, if I had greninja I’d be selling it and coping some cards like this then scooping back greninja when it eventually drops
@@Trevor-TCGexactly. I'm circling back to the Greninja at the end of the year. By then more sets will be out with potential bangers on the horizon. Some will unload the card to make investments in those sets, others will sell to buy gifts for loved ones. If it's too expensive I have no issues with just passing all together. Or just buy it in Japanese. You can get a PSA 10 for 125 all day. Or raw for 65 bucks.
I believe it'll be just like the Tina, the art mixed with pull rates makes it a massive chase card

Paldea evolved - most of the cards have crept up. It’s a great set to open and a hard set to grade.
Prob my favourite to open from SV so far! Seems most SV sets are tough to grade! Gonna be interesting to see pop reports down the line
I really dont get it when people like omg its manipulated. But why would people spend money on the fees for these sales to manipulate….like people dont understand how heavy some fees are and its proportional to the amount u sell
From my understanding The manipulation most people are talking about is people buying from themselves under fake accounts and then cancelling the order down the line to show sales at high prices to create real sales via FOMO im not sure about fees but I think there is definitely manipulation goin on to some extent

Haha, he says greninja not worth 230, market on ebay says this baby is going for $600USD graded PSA 10. It does suck to miss out. This isn't another Umbreon but I can see this going for $1000 in a few years. You're going to eat your words. People hoping for a crash, we know how that goes with the stock markets, it goes higher.
Fair enough! I still don’t think it’s worth it, time will tell when we see what other cards come out in SV era! It’s not worth the money to me but maybe to everyone else which is okay!

everything could go down, but yeah odds are it wont go down that much. I do feel once the set has settled and better sets get released it'll drop close to 50% in value tho. Glad you have one!

wish i liked this era's pokemon and art, but i can't get into SV art and sets the way i did for SM and SWSH 🤷♀
I feel ya, I’m not a big fan of the Gen9 Pokémon but I like the concept of the paradox stuff. Took a while but I’m finally enjoying SV era and actually purchasing it lol I think SWSH was just too hype, it was an exciting era and idk if anything could top it
People who “want a chase” just want profit and should move out of the hobby. I want the damn cards and zu don’t want spend trillions on cardboard. I think 5 dollar is already a lot. Hope they go back to early SV pull rates and reprint the sh*** if all those set like they did in Japan.
Damm that’s a hot take! Can’t say I agree in the slightest. I don’t even open a lot of packs or chase master sets but if I pull the chase card fast then I’ll never open the set again. You need to make rare cards rare… that’s a major part of what makes them collectible. Value is determined by what the secondary market is willing to pay. Not how hard it is to pull.
@@Trevor-TCG why does it need to have value tho? That’s bullshit, especially in a game aimed for kids and not for people with an income. I’m sorry, but if you need to collect to have “worth” collect vintage cars or something. It’s not like you don’t need to spend any money to get any of the cards but ARs in Japan are around 100 yen with most current SIR being around 3000 and I really think those are fair prices, especially given a pack there is 180 yen while it is 5€ in Germany which is a joke to begin with. I want to enjoy the art of the cards and not it possible resale value as I never want to sell them.
People act like you get the pulls for free. It’s not that easy. If you want to pull a complete set yourself, even a small one like OBF, you would need to spend hundreds. There is your pulling game. People just won’t because they don’t value the pull of the card but the market prices which will be much cheaper than opening all these packs. It’s just high and mighty to me to say “a card needs value” - like what for? Don’t buy singles if you won’t it to be hard.
You got it backwards. If you just want the cards, go collect Japanese.
@@nathanakey3708 I do both. It still the same game tho and as I’m also playing, why should I concentrate on cards I can’t use? And for what reason should the western version be handled differently? Your comment makes no sense. Although you have a point: Japanese cards have a much higher quality which is a shame compared to the crap they sell here for more money.
